What a BEAUTIFUL place! We stayed in a suite room with the most incredible sea view, I want to wake up there every day!
The staff were all incredibly friendly, Yiannis (1&2), Maria and Andreas in particular were amazing!
As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a welcome drink and helped with sorting parking and luggage.
Our room was gorgeous, a small living area with sofa/single bed, fridge and dressing table, then a small bathroom and then beautiful bedroom with balcony over looking the harbous and small beach, we could have spent hours watching the boats going in and out.
The food in the hotel is amazing and the coffee and cocktails fantastic (Andreas makes a mean coffee and even meaner cocktail!)
In a three week trip this was our favourite spot and we are already planning a return!
We took the small ferry from the harbour outside the hotel (not the main port) for the day to Loutros and sweet water which was incredible! Would recommend avoiding the weekends for this though as it was very busy! Really wish we had had longer here.
Very good hotel with very good food in a very pleasant seafront setting.
Staff - all young, male and healthy looking - could have provided assistance to older travellers carrying suitcases up and down two flights of stairs, but seemed unwilling to do so
Livikon is a cute bay front property. Our room overlooked the water. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Check in was easy. Unfortunately there is not much to do in the area as Safkion seems to be a small port/fishing town. However the people were friendly and thankfully we had a car to explore the southern regions of Crete. If you stay here, be sure to eat breakfast at the small bakery behind the hotel. The pastries were amazing.
