Everything was great, the WiFi is a little spotty here and there and the driveway is not very car friendly at all as It is washed out. But everything else was really good.

The house was cozy and clean. We had a lovely time. The host was easy to communicate with and very accessible. The only issue we had ( and it was petty ) was the gravel driveway.... had a hard time navigating the off mountain. And would love more updated furnishings. But, we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Thank you so much. You provided a great space to stay.

This was the perfect cabin for our family girl get away. We stayed 4 nights in September. The road had some ruts caused by heavy rain but it was not horrible.. a low riding vehicle could have some problems. We did see a mama and 2 cubs playing out front the 2nd night there. AWESOME. LOTS of stairs!! Easy for the in shape guests, but the older guests had a hard time with the stairs outside and then again inside but that did not affect the trip at all. We would definitely stay here again! It is so quiet and peaceful! No traffic sounds at all. And this cabin is truly on the quiet side of the smokys!!! Also the entrance to the foothills parkway is just down the road so that was nice as well!!!! We did not use the hot tub.

The home was not clean at all. I reached out several times to owner, who simply disregarded our concerns and never replied. Showers and sinks all clogged and back up while in use. The dust was inches thick. We even found toe nails in the carpets. Garbage house was loaded with trash that had been there for months. The smell was sickening. The stove was unusable it had spray cleaner all over the inside and debris caked on. The Grill was in pieces on the deck unusable. The showers had caked on black mold and soap scumb. I asked the owner to assist and they answered (1) time and never came out. The refrigerator leaks water from the bottom the entire time. Houses need serious help!

The property is run down and lacks both interior and exterior maintenance. The furniture was dusty and the property wasn't cleaned properly. The trash from previous visits had not been removed. There were several maintenance issues during our stay! Moreover, the description of the property didn't match - we had to go through the hassle of carrying extra beddings only to find there was an additional queen bedroom. The description lists game room but there weren't any. Also, there were safety issues as the hot tub is downstairs with no enclosure. Moments after the kids used the hot tub, we had unexpected visitors - black bears right at the door step.

The cabin is older and needs some updates. The most disappointing was no chairs on porch to enjoy the mornings or evenings. The pool table was broken and balls were missing. The wifi was in and out during the week stay. Furniture was comfortable but definitely in need of cleaning or upgrading. The garbage shed was horrible. Garbage spilled and smelled. There was a rat the size of a small dog that lived in there. The AC went out for 2 days and there was no service or wifi to make contact with owner. Outside lights not working so coming in a night was very dark. Just small things that need fixing. You make the best of it. The highlight of the cabin was mama bear and 2 cubs that visited. They even made a porch visit! Overall it was a great stay even with the mishaps. It was large enough for a great family trip. The owner was very responsive when contacted. With a little cleaning and a few upgrades, it would be top notch!

This was a great stay that wasn’t far from all of the attractions in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville. It’s was a very quiet and peaceful location. We enjoyed our stay very much! Although the bedroom/bathroom amounts were off on the booking website, we ended up having more than enough beds that no one in our group had to share and the layout of the house was great. (Upstairs- King Size Bed w/ private bathroom, 2 single beds. Downstairs- 3 rooms each w/ queen beds, 2 bathrooms, 2 pull out couches and pool/air hockey/ ping pong table.) The only downfall was the driveway. It was very rough and washed out. Our Jeep Wrangler and Truck did fine, but the car had trouble getting to the cabin and scraped a lot. Overall, it was a great place to stay!

Serene Getaway

Place was perfect for my kids, grandkids and my parents to get away after the passing of my husband. Loved the double porches. A few things, it says it sleeps 20 but only enough beds for 12 unless sleeping on couches and you bring air mattress. Towels for use 12, so bring extra if more people. Only one fish towel and drying towel, and 2 garbage bags provided. Bring everything for kitchen, salt and pepper, spices, baggies, tin foil etc. Also bring extra toliet paper. The property is very convenient to Townsend, Metcalf Bottoms and Pigeon Forge.

Perfect peaceful location

We loved staying in this house. The rooms were set up perfectly for our two families and the 8 kids between us. We loved the addition of the hot tub right before we got there, it was so nice to soak after we did the 11 mile bike ride at Cade's Cove. The location is perfect-secluded but a close enough drive into town. We had a couple things come up while at the cabin but Travis was always super helpful and answered any questions we had. We would absolutely stay here again.
