Nuthouse - Pickle Ball, Firepit, mountain views

Summary:
The Nuthouse is an oversized studio that boasts a king size bed, hide a bed couch, dining room table with 4 chairs, full bathroom and everything you need for a peaceful vacation. Even though it's a studio, it's large enough to not be crowded. The view from the windows of Mt. Laconte are beautiful. There are 12 acres that you can hike on and even a small outside chapel and gazebo to be used for an outside wedding (at an extra cost and it needs to be approved beforehand).

The Space:
Although it is a part of Tanner Manor Lodge (TML), The Nuthouse ONLY shares outside items (picnic tables, grill, bench swings).

There will be a Pickle Ball court on the property in February.

There are 12 acres that you can hike on and even a small outside chapel and gazebo to be used for an outside wedding (at an extra cost and it needs to be approved beforehand).You can follow the gravel road from TML up to the top - curve to the right - to find the gazebo, mountain view area and a bench swing that overlooks Pigeon Forge and the mountains behind it. There is a community Firepit behind Tanner Manor Lodge. Go behind the cabin and you will see 2 gravel paths, take the one to the left that leads up to the Firepit. There is a hose there to put out the fire after it has been used. Behind TML there is also a grill and picnic tables. Picnic tables and bench swings are also located around TML for your use. The balcony outside of the front of The Ranch is only for the guests of The Ranch. Everything else is shared by all guests. Behind TML there is a large area with a picnic table and a well house. On the other side of the well house is a big deck box with outside games (bocce ball, croquet and other games in the future) for your use. Just please put them back after you are finished using them.
There is an EV charger at one of our cabins that is a short walk away. Be sure to bring your adapters if you have a Tesla, the connector is the J1772. Just let Kathryn know if you are going to need to use it while you are there so she can arrange it with the other guests.
The space is NOT a separate cabin, it is a unit INSIDE of a large Lodge - Tanner Manor Lodge. There are 4 overnight units in the Lodge.

The Neighborhood:
This unit is a single family unit inside of Tanner Manor Lodge. The only things shared are outside: picnic tables and a grill. There are 3 other small (2 bd/1.5 or 2 bathroom) cabins on the property and a large 6 bd/5 bath cabin that can also be rented out. Great for a destination wedding, family reunion, retreat, etc.

Other Things to Note:
We have a washer & dryer outside of Tanner Manor Lodge (downstairs from The Nuthouse and in the back) that will be available for all of our guests who don't have their own washers and dryers in their cabins. If there are clothes in the washer or dryer when you come to use it, please contact whoever's name is on the dry erase board. There are bench swings around Tanner Manor Lodge, a grill behind it and oversized chess and checkers on the back porch. Feel free to hang out and play while you are waiting on your laundry to be done.
No ice maker in the unit.

Bring own firewood for fireplace (available October - March) and firepit. Bring charcoal for grilling.
