This is a modern-rustic cabin nestled in the woods, surrounded by peaceful trees and the soothing sounds of nature. Inside, find natural wood finishes and a crackling fireplace, inviting you to curl up with a good book and unwind. Outside, fresh air and the beauty of the great outdoors at your doorstep. We are conveniently located right between exciting and action packed Pigeon Forge and the peaceful Wears Valley and Townsend region. Skip the traffic and access a lesser known entrance to Great Smoky Mountain National Park, with a shortcut to Cade's Cove, in under 10 min. Or travel the other direction and find the thrilling coasters of Dollywood and Pigeon Forge, just 12 minutes away. If you choose to stay in, cozy up to the outdoor wood burning firepit overlooking the seasonal creek or gather around for family board game night. You may also choose to shoot some pool or play one of the two arcade games after soaking in the hot tub on the back deck. If you venture out, all Smoky Mountain attractions are easily reached from this traditional cabin with no steep roads and level parking for 2 or 3 cars. Please note this area of the mountain has poor cell reception. Starlink Satellite internet is provided.

"Smoky Turkey" is the perfect cabin for small families or couples looking to relax, unplug, and enjoy nature at its finest. The cabin is divided between two levels, each floor with a private bedroom with King bed and full bathroom. Upstairs you will also find a living room with leather couches, sleeper sofa, large screen Smart TV and DVD player, and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you would need to cook any meal. Downstairs is the rec room with a pool table, arcade games, board games and books, pub table and stools, mounted Smart TV, and a queen sleeper sofa. Out back, both decks offer a beautiful setting to enjoy your morning cup of coffee and your evening glass of wine (or shine). Continue down the back stairs to the yard overlooking the seasonal creek with a wood burning firepit. This is the perfect spot to roast marshmallows and enjoy the clear mountain air!
Smoky Turkey is a cabin in the woods. This means you may see different critters including turkeys, possums, rabbits, and bears. We advise you to keep doors shut so these critters don't find their way inside. Also always lock your car and bring all food indoors. Be sure all trash always makes its way into the bear proof trash bins.

NOTE: Because we are in the woods, Smoky Turkey has spotty cell reception but does offer Starlink satellite internet. You WILL be able to do internet searches, check email, make Wi-Fi calls, send texts, etc. All 4 televisions are Roku enabled, allowing you to access any streaming services you subscribe to. We also have a large collection of DVDs for you to enjoy.
