The house was the perfect size for our group of 10. It was small enough for intimate moments as a group and large enough for personal time with smaller groups. We would consider coming back for future stays.

Great space, slightly under equipped

The house was recently updated and well furnished. It had a great bedroom and bathroom configuration. It could have been cleaner; the floors were all pretty dirty and dusty. The kitchen only had 5 bowls, 6 salad plates and 7 dinner plates for a house that sleeps ten people. No serving dishes and other cooking pots and pans were limited but we made it work. A few more hooks for towels and coats would be nice.

The property was nice, but the online pics and descriptions lead me to believe the gameroom was attracted to the house not a separate building. That would have made the cabin more user friendly.

Football and Fall Fun

Our family came down for a football tournament. We have always stayed in a hotel but decided to try a cabin. It was a great experience. Everyone loved their beds. They were so comfortable. We had tons of room to spread out. The grands loved the game area and the hot tub. They also loved exploring the grounds. Would love to stay again if the circumstances are right.

Family of 8 Vacation to Smoky Mountains

The place was beautiful, secluded, and peaceful. It is away from everything but within striking distance of everything. Huge uphill drive reminded us we were up on a mountain everyday. Very clean. Cool bridge up front and stream. Inside was spacious and allowed everyone to have their own beds and privacy, at least enough for a family of 8. Check-out process was easy. If you plan to make a lot meals there are not too many kitchen items to cook dishes, only a few pots and pans. Because it was summer we did not get a chance to use the fire pit, which looked awesome for outside enjoyment. The porch , our girls lived sitting out there in the mornings, it is all the way around. 2 semi hassles, Did not have clear instructions that we had to Check-in at Parkside Cabin Rental's office in Gatlinburg. We were running late and could not get to the office before they closed which was 20 minutes from the cabin. We worked it out. We were told the vague communication was from VRBO, at least that was the response we received. Just remember to Check-in at their office and it is about 20 min from Cabin. Second was the trash having to stay in the house. I know there is wildlife but feel there could be a place secure by the garage or shed to allow trash to be placed. 4 days with trash. With that being said I would stay here again no problem and recommend
