From the cozy, family friendly outdoor fire pit to the comfortable seating on the porch area, this cabin is all about spending time with each other and relaxing. Black-Beary Cove cabin has everything that you and your family have been dreaming of in an affordable Smoky Mountain family cabin rental. A small step up onto the U-Shaped porch grants access to the cabin inside, the comfortable porch furniture, gas grill and the perfectly positioned outdoor hot tub. From the moment you step up onto the porch, you will feel as if you are home.

The outdoor setting provides a wooded, almost forest-like setting in a well-planned out neighborhood. There are other homes around the cabin with ample space between them. Enjoying quiet evenings dining al-fresco in the Smokies and relaxing in the hot tub: these relaxing times are what Smoky Mountain Vacations are made of. No waiting in line at the restaurant, just great food and wonderful conversation. When you book your stay at Black-Beary Cove cabin rental, you will have the opportunity to spot wildlife (deer, an occasional bear or bear family, squirrels, chipmunks, and birds). What could be better? Enjoying the great outdoors and being home.

To the right of the circular driveway area, there is an outdoor fire pit for your enjoyment. Make plans to roast marshmallows or enjoy some S’mores in the evenings. This is a great time to share stories from the day and perhaps hear stories from the grandparents from days gone by.

As you enter the cabin, notice the beautiful hardwood flooring that compliments the spacious great-room layout. The cathedral ceiling makes this room feel very roomy and extremely comfortable. The floor-to-ceiling windows are the perfect accompaniment to this open-concept design. The space is immersed with natural light and the outdoors seem to coax you in even closer to enjoy and appreciate the seemingly unboundless beauty that encompasses the outdoor space. A large Smart TV with surround sound offers guests family time while enjoying a movie or favorite Netflix series. (Don’t forget to bring your log-in and passwords with you). The seasonal gas fireplace unites the room into a cozy setting during the winter months. Snuggle up together on the sofa and watch a movie or favorite TV show. A commercial grade arcade style game table featuring over 35,000 arcade style games offers endless hours of entertainment for the young and young at heart in your group. The living-room area is equipped with a Queen Size sofa and 2 recliners. The dining room table seats 8 and there is seating for 2 more at the counter. The fully equipped kitchen makes preparing a home cooked meal an easy task. A Keurig and regular drip coffee maker are included in this rental. Don't forget the Keurig pods.

Just off the great-room area, down the hallway, you will find the washer and dryer in a closet on the left. There is a full bathroom on the right. There are 2 bedrooms at the end of the hallway. The bedroom on the right (a.k.a. Train Red Overpass Room) offers a Queen bed in a comfortable setting. The bedroom on the left offers a Queen Bed and Twin Bed in the room. This room is perfect for families with a small child. This is the Mama, Papa, and Little Bear Room. Each bedroom has a smart flat screen TV as well as large wall closets. Black-Beary Cove cabin has been thoughtfully designed with your comfort in mind.

Upstairs, in the open loft area, the third sleeping area contains a King Size Bed and a Twin Bed. There is a full size bathroom on this level as well as a large wall closet, flat screen TV, and a recliner.

Important Fire Pit Information:
You will need to purchase wood at the gas station or local grocery store for the fire pit. To protect our forest here in the Smokies, Tennessee Law prohibits bringing firewood into the area from your home. This is to help prevent any unnecessary introduction of species that can invade our forest and wreak havoc on the area we love to call home.

***Pool and fishing pond access is located approximately 15 minutes from the cabin at Honeysuckle Meadows Pool & Deli off Happy Hollow Road in Wears Valley. You will need to bring your own fishing poles for the catch & release pond. There is no cost to use the pool or fishing pond. This is included in your rental.

Emotional Support Animals: Per official ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) guidance, emotional support animals (ESAs) are not covered by federal public accommodations laws. We do not accept emotional support animals in non-pet friendly cabins since these animals are not protected by any applicable federal, state, or local laws or regulations regarding short term lodging in Tennessee. Renters with emotional support animals may only bring their ESA with them if they are staying in a pet friendly cabin and pay the relevant $75.00 non-refundable pet fee. Renters with service animals for a disability are explicitly protected under both federal and state law. The ADA defines service animals as dogs that have been “trained to perform a task directly related to a person’s disability.” Service animals are explicitly protected under both state and federal law, and, as such, are welcome in any of our cabins.
