Other things to note
Important things to know (please read before booking)
We want you to love your stay and arrive with the right expectations. Here are the key details, organized so you can skim what matters most to you.
Water & power
âą The cabin is on well water, powered by an electric pump. During a power outage, water flow will pause. If this happens, please contact us immediately so we can follow up with the power company.
âą We recommend bringing bottled or purified water for drinking and cooking.
Security
For your safety and peace of mind, the property is monitored by cameras facing the driveway and front porch only. There are no cameras inside the cabin.
Mountain road & parking
âą The road to the cabin is a one-way paved mountain road that narrows and becomes steep near the entrance to the driveway, which includes a sharp right turn. This kind of road is very typical for cabins with big views in the Smokies
âą If youâre uncomfortable driving on mountain roads, this may not be the best fit
âą Regular sedans do fine in normal weather; we recommend 4WD or AWD in winter months.
âą RVs are not recommended.
âą Parking is right outside the cabin: 2 cars fit comfortably, and up to 3â4 cars with careful parking.
Check-in / Check-out
âą Check-in: 4:00 pm EST
âą Check-out: 10:00 am EST
To give our cleaners time to thoroughly clean and sanitize between stays, weâre not able to offer early check-in or late check-out. Late departure will incur an additional fee.
Internet & entertainment
âą Free high-speed (1000 Mbps) Wi-Fi throughout the cabin
âą Cable TV and Roku TVs in the living room and all bedrooms, plus the movie area
What we provide (and what to bring)
Towels and bed linens are provided.
We set you up with a starter supply so you can settle in easily:
âą Travel size soap and shampoo
âą Toilet paper and paper towels
âą Dish soap, sponge, and trash liners
âą A small coffee packet
Please note that these items are provided as a starter supply and are not intended to cover your full stay. We recommend bringing any additional supplies you may need.
We recommend bringing bottled or purified water for drinking and cooking.
Laundry & trash
âą A washer and dryer are available on the lower level for guest use.
âą Please place all trash in the bear-proof bins beside the front porch and secure the latch.
âą Because regular pickup is limited in the mountains, longer-stay guests may either contact us for help with extra trash for a fee or drop it off at:
Birds Creek Convenience Center
3350 Birds Creek Road, Sevierville, TN
MonâSat, 8:00 am â 6:00 pm
(about 4 minutes / 1.4 miles from the cabin)
Fire pit & BBQ Grill
âą Enjoy the outdoor fire pitâ just purchase your own firewood, never leave the fire unattended, keep children supervised, and fully extinguish the fire before heading in. A fire extinguisher is located on the front porch for emergencies.
âą The charcoal BBQ grill is yours to use. Please bring charcoal, never leave it unattended, and place cooled ashes in the ash can provided.
Hot tub
âą The hot tub is on the lower-level porch, just outside Bedroom #4.
âą Use at your own risk and keep children under close supervision; guests under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
âą Guests who are pregnant or have health concerns should consult a physician before use.
âą Please keep the cover on when the tub is not in use to maintain temperature and cleanliness.
Wildlife & critters
Youâre in the mountains, surrounded by forest: part of the magic, and part of the reality.
âąDuring ladybug season, itâs very common in the Smoky Mountains to see LADYBUGS INSIDE THE CABIN, even with regular professional pest control. Theyâre harmless, but please keep this in mind when booking
âą Local wildlife may include bears, deer, squirrels, and more. If you see a bear, do not feed or approach it.
âą Keep vehicles locked, windows closed, and avoid leaving food or trash in cars or outside.
To keep the cabin fresh and safe for all guests:
âą No smoking or vaping inside the cabin or on any porch. Evidence of smoking will result in an additional cleaning fee.
âą No open flames, candles, or fireworks inside the cabin. Fires are allowed only in the outdoor fire pit, and must never be left unattended.
âą We love animals but do not allow pets. A fee will be charged if this policy is violated.
