Overall our stay was fine. We were notified after we had already left home the day before our arrival that the washer and dryer were broken. This caused a little bit of an issue due to planning on washing some things since this was part of a longer trip. When we arrived the cleaning person must have assumed it was us, as they were sitting in their car and left cabin wide open. Contacted host twice about needing more towels and comforters for the bed. Living room tv wasnât working either. Was assured it would be taken care of that evening. No one ever came. Late that evening did a message through Alexa for housekeeping. Next morning got a call and lady was super nice. She didnât see note of any of this and put a rush on everything. We had numerous fresh linens delivered (since we couldnât wash) , blankets delivered, and tv fixed.
The cabin was not very clean. Had the owner of a wet dog all throughout and the couch upstairs smelled so bad we could not even sit on it. One of the bathtubs bottom was gray and black and Iâm hoping that it was stained and not just that filthy but could not tail. Most of the furnishings were broken and dirty and the coffee table looks like the baskets underneath it had been torn apart by an animal. The trunk upstairs that we were assuming had boardgames in it was filled with garbage and broken pieces of things. The sofa beds were so uncomfortable we had to get air mattresses so the kids could sleep. Hot tub was broken upon check-in and was in terrible shape looks like somebody had busted the outer part in several places. Some of the blankets smelled bad but thankfully I brought some throw blankets from home. The cabin only had two rolls of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, one frying pan two cereal bowls which is completely in adequate for an 11 person cabin. There was no coffee pot and no oven mitts so we had to use one of the two only hand towels provided in the cabin to get stuff out of the oven. Fireplace did not work. TV out on the patio came on but had no signal. And this 11 person Kevin we were supplied with two washcloths and five towels. Had to call customer service 12 times to get towels and I was promised they would be there within 2 to 4 hours each time. I had to chew them out and still did not get towels until 1130 on Saturday night. Would not recommend
It was a nice property. It would have been nice if the man fixing the dishwasher wouldn't have been negligent by leaving a dishwasher rack in front of the door causing me to step on it and fall, injuring myself. The technician apologized but I feel he was negligent in leaving it in the pathway of the front door as people are trying to unload their vehicles. I look forward to speaking with someone about this and I was told a report had been made on your end.
