“Bear Hugs” is a beautifully decorated one level cabin with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath that will sleep 5. This adorable cabin is nestled in a natural wooded setting in the Smoky’s Cove Resort and is only about 15 minutes to Pigeon Forge and 25 minutes from Gatlinburg. The road going to the cabin is completely paved and is considered motorcycle friendly at the rider discretion. The driveway is level and paved and will accommodate up to 2 cars comfortably.

There are no steps to enter the cabin, but once you do you will be amazed by all the hardwood floors and the adorable decor throughout the cabin. The kitchen, dining room, and living room are an open floor plan so you never will miss out on a conversation among family and friends. Watch your favorite show on the flat screen TV or play a game on the arcade while you relax after a long day of sightseeing. There is a fully equipped kitchen with dining for 4 plus 2 bar stools. You can access the nice, level back yard from the living room where you will have a charcoal grill for the grill masters, just bring your charcoal and your favorite food and you are all set.

As you travel down the small hallway you will have 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom will have a beautiful King bed and the other bedroom will have a custom-made Twin over Queen bunk bed. The washer and dryer are located in the bunk room for your convenience. The bedrooms will share the bathroom which is located between the 2 rooms, and it has shower only.

In the summer months, the cabin offers a seasonal pool for you to enjoy on those days you just really want to hang out around the cabin and not get in the hustle and bustle of downtown Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg.

We really enjoyed the arcade, hot tub, and cleanliness of the cabin. WiFi never worked so service was not great. The only issue I had with that was for planning purposes. I couldn’t use my phone to view the weather, local excursion ideas, etc. Otherwise, unplugging was actually great!

2024 Christmas in the Cabins!

The cabin was amazing. It was clean and well kept. No complaints at all. They even had it decorated for the holidays so I was able to wrap gifts and put them under the tree for my babies. Everything was perfect!

Fantastic cabin in the Smokies

We enjoyed our stay

The setting was very relaxing and not too far away from activities, grocery store, restaurants. We passed horse and cows everyday my kids loved. I have one complaint and that’s only that it was extremely cold for two almost 3 days and the furnace couldn’t handle temps(7 degrees) 
my two year old caught a cold, we were freezing and had to stay bundled up inside, literally felt like we were outside in the cold and due to the holiday we weren’t able to connect with front desk to help

Perfect Mother Daughters Weekend

The cabin was perfect for me and my daughter's fun, weekend getaway! Quiet, clean and comfortable in a picturesque community. It was secluded enough that we could take in the star-filled sky at night but close enough to Pigeon Forge that we were able to get to our favorite attractions and restaurants within minutes.

Nice cabin and great location.

This is a nice, cozy, clean, and comfy cabin. We had a wonderful time! I would definitely stay again. My only criticism is the design of the kitchen. It’s the most illogical layout I’ve ever seen. The sink/ dishwasher on one side and the range/refrigerator on the other, with a table and chairs between them! Luckily, I didn’t have to cook because we ate out, but if you do, beware. You can’t cook and have people sitting at the table. It’d be a major pain to have to walk around the table to take a pan of water to the stove, etc. I can tell they did it that way to keep the outside appearance of the front of the cabin symmetrical, but if they’d gone with shorter windows they could have kept it symmetrical and also put the sink/dishwasher on the front wall in an L shape design and moved the table over towards the front door. Would have made much more sense. Again, not a dealbreaker for us, but if you cook it’ll likely drive you nuts.

Great little cabin

Very nice cabin, clean, enjoyed rocking on the front porch listening to nature. Very nice roads to get to cabin, 5 minutes from Pigeon Forge. We went to Wears Valley, had lunch at the Food trucks, excellent food.

Great Cabin

We loved the cabin, it was clean updated and great for our family. The only issue we had was the hot tub seemed to have a lot of standing water on patio which attracted bugs. Over all awesome place!

Great property - short stay

We checked in around 4:00 in the afternoon, got settled in and decided to see town, enjoyed the cabin when we returned but then at 11:30 a cop knocked on our door and asked us to leave, yup we were evacuated due to wild fire and were never able to return to enjoy the Great place! 😱
