Situé à seulement 250 mètres de la place du marché de Settle, ce cottage à flanc de colline se trouve dans une belle région avec de nombreuses promenades variées disponibles localement.


Niché dans une position élevée dans le bourg prosp����re de Settle, ce cottage romantique construit à flanc de colline dans la «vieille ville» avec ses belles rues étroites et pav��es a été soigneusement converti pour conserver les caractéristiques d'origine telles que pierres apparentes, chemin poutres. Combinés à tous les conforts de la vie moderne, les caractéristiques d'origine ont été soigneusement combinées avec des tissus d'ameublement coordonnés et le chauffage central pour créer une belle maison. À seulement 250 mètres de la place du marché, vous pouvez simplement vous garer et marcher directement depuis la porte. Entrez dans l'un des pubs ou restaurants locaux, ou tout simplement détendez-vous et détendez-vous dans ce cottage confortable. Le site du National Trust de Malham Cove se trouve à quelques minutes de route et vous pourrez faire de nombreuses promenades variées dans les environs. La ligne de chemin de fer Settle-Carlisle vous fait traverser des paysages magnifiques et, si vous avez de la chance, vous pourrez prendre un train à vapeur. Pour ceux qui aiment visiter, les Yorkshire Dales et Trough of Bowland sont facilement accessibles, et le Lake District peut être atteint en une heure. Boutique, pub et restaurant à 250 mètres.

Cottage was just as described. Small and compact. Very clean and comfortable. Great shower and comfortable bed. All the equipment you needGreat position in Settle. The only thing which let it down was the rubbish left. Comfy seating in the courtyard would have been nice as well as we had great weather. Lovely pubs within 5 minutes walk

We had a good week. The location was excellent and the cottage was comfortable. Although there is well equipped kitchen, there was no bread knife, which I would have expected. It was good to have a bath and shower but the electric shower above the bath was leaking down the wall so we didn't use.

Small but perfectly formed, just a beautiful cosy little cottage in a gorgeous village, everything you need to enjoy your stay, the kitchen was well provided with utensils, cooker, microwave washer etc, the lounge was cosy with tv & wifi, door to small yard, in summer will be lovely to sit out! Parking a bit tight (our car quite big)but we knew this before we went, so made use of village carpark 2mins walk away,after dropping cases off! Will definitely go again! Loved it!

Comfortable, cosy, and well equipped.Some of the lightbulbs need replacement, including one over the cooker.The 'local information' incorrectly states that the recycling area is in the Whitefriars car park, whereas it is located in the Sowarth Field industrial area. It is also worth noting that although there are cash machines in the supermarkets, there are now no bank branches open in Sttle.

Cosy & Clean Cottage

This is a gem of a cottage, ideally located to the centre of Settle. It was clean and well maintained. There was a plentiful supply of hand soap, toilet rolls, kitchen roll, washing up liquid and foil. The kitchen was well equipped although it could do with a serrated bread knife. It was nice and warm and there was plenty of hot water. The only downside was the parking, we couldn't use the space as we have quite a large car as did the people in the neighbouring cottage. We parked in the main car park which was a 2 minute walk away and only cost £15 for a week. Would definitely recommend this property for couples wanting to explore the area.

Lovely cottage, in a quaint, historic village.

Lovely cottage, in a quaint, historic village. The street is very narrow, and although parking was very welcome, the space and roads are very tight. The cottage itself is quirky, with well thought out decor and equipment.Both bathrooms were great. I would suggest stairs and low ceilings not ideal if there are mobility issues as they are very steep. Unfortunately our weather was not great, but we still found plenty to do in the local area. Lots of great eating places too.

Settle is such a beautiful little village and April Cottage is the perfect place to stay. I loved how spotlessly clean it was, access to a full kitchen with washer/dryer, the tasteful way it was decorated and the welcome tea tray with biscuits and wine. The cottage is an easy walk to everything and we loved being able to park the car outside the door and leave it for the entire stay. Thank you for providing all those little extras that make staying so easy and relaxing.

great holiday cottage, one of the best we have stayed in.

great holiday cottage, one of the best we have stayed in. ideal for the town and walking around the local area. there is a pub garden directly backing on the property and a certain amount of noise in the evening if people are sitting outside. it was not a problem for us but worth bearing in mind if you would be expecting to go to sleep before closing time. other than that its very quiet through the night, no traffic noise etc.
