Studio 604 is an exclusive Beyond the path property, set on five acres of land on the south edge of Bloomington, safe and secluded yet only minutes to anywhere in Bloomington/Normal. Separate from the main house your space is private and quiet. Enjoy the convenience and safety of parking right next to your door in a well lit driveway with no steps to enter. Privacy and safety are key, we will keep to ourselves unless needed. Play some pickleball, grill a yummy meal, then relax with a book or movie on the comfortable furniture.

Beyond the Path is a small, owner‑run collection of thoughtfully designed vacation rentals where every stay is personal, not just another rental. We focus on memorable details, quick communication, and genuinely warm hospitality so you can relax, feel at home, and know someone local truly cares about your stay.

The studio is on our property but we value our own privacy as well as yours. We are here should you need anything but will give you as much space as you like. With the self check-in there will be no need to engage should you prefer to be incognito :-)

Our "neighborhood" is a small group of houses all set on over 5 acres on the south edge of Bloomington/Normal. Peaceful, calm and quiet is what we love best about our home. Your private studio shares our driveway but includes a small sitting area outside for your own use as well as access to some of the grounds to walk and enjoy the nature. Just minutes from anything in Bloomington/Normal you can experience privacy and convenience in our comfortable studio.

Parking for two vehicles directly in front of the studio. Additional space is available upon request. Just 5 minutes to state farm, 8 minutes to downtown Bloomington, 15 minutes to Rivian, 15 minutes to ISU, 10 minutes to US Cellular Coliseum.

The SW grounds are available for you to explore. The studio sits on 5 acres with a small creek at the back side, a small walnut grove and quiet streets for a nice walk. The pool area, shop building and main house are not available for guest use. The main house is adjacent to the studio parking area but is situated such that there is typically very minimal contact with us. Should you need anything though we are just a text or email away!

There are two dogs on property, one small and one medium size. They are both VERY friendly and will greet you with great enthusiasm. If you are uncomfortable with dogs please let us know and we will work with you to keep you comfortable during your stay. They are typically contained if we are off property but they do have an invisible boundary around the entire property and sometimes have free access to the entire grounds.

Security cameras- There are security cameras located on the front of both buildings viewing the driveway, front doors and front yard areas. These are not monitored and should not be relied upon for personal safety.

As a private small business owner, we do require a separate renters agreement for each booking. We abide by all privacy regulations required for all online businesses and maintain a high guest satisfaction rating. Should you have questions regarding this, please reach out. Great Place to Stay.

Firstly, the communication from the time we booked until the time we left the property was outstanding. Kimberly and Shannon never took longer than 10 minutes to reply to my enquiries. This was the perfect place for us to stay during our baseball tournament. We found the one sink for the entire property a bit quirky and the smell of well water took a bit of getting used to but we soon did. The inside of the rental was extremely clean and perfect for 2 people. Without question though our favourite part was the peace and tranquillity of the location. It was absolutely perfect. My son and I love Pickleball so the on premise Pickleball/Basketball court, including paddles and balls, was such a great addition to our stay. The use of the Weber Grill was great too as it allowed us to grill for dinner. I highly recommend this property. We loved our stay here.

In Town For A Wedding

Everything was just as shown and even though it's a studio, there was plenty of space for all the clothes and accessories that we brought. Very peaceful. Host was easily accessible. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Travis and Kim allowed our pets to stay with us while we were waiting to move into our new home. We probably should’ve requested a potential to wash towels or sheets because we stayed for almost two weeks but it was so easy to settle into the studio like it was home, because it was for us! We loved the property location and the communication and attention to any needs was very helpful.

Spacious, nicely decorated, comfortable, accomodating. Bed and couch comfortable, shower and water pressure great! Might mention it is well water, so tenant can know to bring their own bottled water if well water not to their liking I have no issues I have well water myself. Only thing that owner might add is a note about their dogs having a free use doggie dog to their pen right by studio, which is great, but not knowing about doggie dog, they startled us, and my dog being young pup, got very excited and ran at them, just looking to play, not fight, but pulled her lunge line and jerked my neck and I spilled my hot coffee all over my lap, ouch! 😁 was sitting in one of the chairs enjoying the calm morning having my coffee letting her do her budiness and BOOM! 😄 I will stay again on next visit if needed. Was centrally located for me as well to go where I needed.
