Charming waterfront home, with deep water canal. Located 1 mile from the beach and 2 blocks from the 54 bridge in what locals call West Fenwick. It is an easy bike or quick ride to both Ocean City and Fenwick Island. Enjoy expansive and panoramic views of the bay and a breathtaking skyline from any one of your four private balconies, or the expansive dock/deck area! Luxury vinyl/composite decking everywhere outside, and a 50ft dock with an outdoor hot water shower to rinse off after a day at the beach or on the bay. The house features a first floor suite with a kitchenette another bedroom & washer and dryer. The second floor of this home is all original wood and beam ceilings, walls, and hardwood floors, complimented by a glorious gourmet all-white kitchen (cabinets, quartz counters
and backsplash), and offset with Bosch stainless steel appliances. On this floor you can also enjoy three roomy bedrooms a private dining room, waterfront sunroom, and a beautiful family room with 2-story cathedral ceilings. Walk up an impeccably maintained all-hardwood staircase to the 3rd floor suite, with cottage-style bedroom, full bath and additional laundry room.

Excellent family gathering house

It was a wonderful house with several places both inside and outside to play games, eat and just hang out. The house had everything as listed in the description. The house is on the bay with canal access. The beach is about a mile away and walkable and there is plenty of free parking available near the beach if one wanted to drive. Its location is very convenient with multiple restaurants and fun activities nearby. Our host, Lee was very responsive and had a couple of items delivered to us the very next day. My family and I had a great time.

Beautiful Sunsets

We had a beautiful week at this property. Lee was very responsive to us with any questions we had, check-in was simple. The location of the property, the decks/outdoor space, the sunsets were fantastic. Beds were comfortable, the house clean, the kitchen well equipped and 2 grills was great to have. We rented a boat so having the dock was great and we loved having the outdoor shower for after the beach. We chose to use the sheets/towels provided and it added a lot to the morning of checkout so laundry service would be helpful. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and had a great stay.

Great Location

Wonderful having a beautiful dock and deck at the house. Boys as well as girls in our group spent more time crabbing and fishing than they did at the beach. Dock allowed us to rent a boat for some tubing as well as kayaking. Great week on the canal!

Best beach trip yet

Let me start by saying as beautiful as the listing is it doesn’t do the property justice. It is so spacious and truly does sleep 16 people. There were 15 of us and a 9 month old. We never felt like we were on top of each other. We got to use the kayaks in the water behind the house which was so much fun. The neighbors were friendly. And you really can walk to the beach which some of us did daily. The place was clean and perfectly stocked with household items you need for a vacation. Lee was very responsive and timely. Helpful with requests and had all the instructions spelled out via phone before we arrived and in a little household guide when we got there. We’ve been coming to the area every summer for 5 years and this was the best trip yet. Very hopeful to book this property again.

Quiet Neiborhood

My family of seven had an amazing experience at this rustic updated canal front home. Let me begin by saying that the owner Lee was an absolute pleasure to deal with. We have rented several homes in the last seven years and we have never had such an easy, pleasant non-invasive experience. You feel right at home as soon as you arrive, no ring cameras all over the house watching you in the back or front. The views from the back deck are very relaxing beautiful sunset between a few houses on a beautiful canal the breezes were amazing. All the beds were very comfortable Enough space for everyone to have privacy in their own areas if needed. I will definitely be coming back to this home. Thank you so much for everything Lee.

Beautiful house, setting, and experience!

Our contact with Lee the owner was great. The house was beautiful with perfect access to the bay for kayaking, sunsets or outdoor eating. Quick ride to the beach, very close to public parking. Overall wonderful trip, thank you Lee!

Perfect beach house and excellent hosts!!

We had to book a large beach house to accommodate all of my siblings and our children during the week of my Dad's funeral and this couldn't have been a better choice!! Lee and his wife were such amazing hosts and their communication was timely and ongoing before, during and after our stay! The house was EXACTLY as described and I am not sure why anyone would ever have a complaint! Beautiful, clean, roomy, gorgeous views, well appointed with all the things you need and then some!! Absolutely everything we hoped for and more!! THANK YOU Lee and Peggy for everything! Your host/hostess skills are unmatched and your kindness couldn't be more appreciated! 5 stars all the way!!

Great House

Had a great time at this property. Perfect location on the water with easy access to beach (1 mile away), restaurants, grocery stores and entertainment. Lee was easy to work with and very responsive. Would come back again.

Family Reunion

House was as described and worked for us. Beach equipment was extensive including bikes. Sleeping arrangements (beds) were not accurate. Would suggest providing rented bedding and towels so they don't have to be laundered on checkout day. Owner was very responsive. Dock worked well for our boat. Really liked the rear deck Grill was very dirty. Overall a very good experience. Would recommend for large groups.

Not what expected

The home is well stocked but the kitchen was small and hard to work in. The dining room was wasted space and would have made a great eat-in kitchen area. The bar-b-q grill was filthy and leaked grease down onto the lower deck landing on anyone sitting in the lounge chairs. Bedroom setup didn't work for our grandkids of 4 boys and 2 girls and the upstairs bedroom level was very hot. We had to buy a portable ac unit in order to make it somewhat comfortable at night. The surrounding area streets were not pedestrian or cycling friendly for anyone. Traffic was heavy and there weren't many safe places to cross so we had to drive to the beach and pay for parking.
