High up on the hill, this setting is surely tough to beat. Welcome to your own luxe Sedona estate complimented by glorious views of Thunder Mountain and the vast Sedona valley. The outdoor amenities offered here are set up for utter relaxation - get the whole family in the large heated* pool, relax in the in-ground spa while taking in the backdrop setting of Thunder Mountain, sit around the firepit at night with a cold drink, or read a favorite novel on one of the many decks with natures sweet sounds in the background. Walk straight from the backyard to a popular hiking destination - the airport vortex trail!

The highlighted aspects of relaxation outdoors are replicated through out the home, resulting in an experience you'll never want to end. 3 master suites containing their own bathrooms; a large open concept great room allowing the group to all be together whether they are preparing a meal in the kitchen or enjoying the game in the living room; and comfortable accommodations in the form of quality mattresses, professionally laundered linens, and a focus on the small details.

The location of this estate cannot be beat. Walk straight into town to get lunch, then head to a nearby hiking trail - no car needed! Once the busy day is complete, it's nice to know a private, comfortable retreat is waiting for you each day to provide the ample rest needed for your next day of adventure.

DO NOT RENT FROM VACAYAZ – HILL HAVEN PROPERTY IS DANGEROUSThe property is extremely run down with zero maintenance being performed. VacayAZ is aware of the problems but does not address them.A.All of the outside decks have the paint completely worn off down to bare wood everywhere. Better wear your shoes outside or you will be digging splinters out of your feet.B.Gas grill is falling out of its enclosure to the point where it has caused a GAS LEAK! The was reported to VacayAZ, they never let us know if and when someone looked at, fixed, or addressed the explosion fire hazard until our last day staying there, several days after it was reported.C.Refrigerator door does not close properly, maintaining a constant safe temperature for food is very challenging.D.Shower in first floor bathroom drains very slowly. You will be standing in several inches of water when you shower. If two people shower one after another it will over flow and flood the bathroom floor.E.The outdoor areas were rendered unusable by pool pump noise coming from the adjacent property, which is also “managed” by VacayAZ. This will greatly reduce your ability to enjoy your vacation. The screeching pump was so loud conversations or enjoyment of the entire outside areas were impossible. The screeching could be heard in the living room, dining room, and even the first-floor bedroom. This was reported multiple times to VacayAZ, they failed to do anything about it.

Amazing location, close to all shops and restaurants. The trail outside the house led to a nice 4 mile walk about the Airport. Pool and Hot tub heating well, perfect for kids and adults after long days. Would stay again, and we are very picky!

Property was easy to find and close to restaurants and shops. There is a trail right outside the home. Self check in was easy and there was a manual via QR code for house instructions. The view was great especially at sunset. Home was clean and plenty of room. Kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook. Pool was beautiful but would recommend heating. Hot tub was great but we did have to fill the water with a hose. One downside was that there were bats at night around the pool so it was difficult to enjoy the hot tub or fire at night. Also we had an issue with a fire alarm that kept beeping while we were trying to sleep. Replacing the buttery did not work so we had to disconnect it from the wall which was not ideal. Overall we had a beautiful stay and would recommend.

The perfect stay

The hilltop house in sedona is absolutely perfect for a large family or group of friends. The location is very convenient to town and hiking. The scenery around the home is beautiful and everything in the home was as described.

Couples Getaway Weekend

The house was perfect for our weekend away with friends! Plenty of space in common areas to gather. The pool area had plenty of seating options. The house was clean and well stocked. Perfect location to town, hiking, and beautiful views! Would recommend and stay again. Had a fantastic time and house was great!

Amazing house for a special birthday weekend

Everything about this house is amazing. Location, layout, comfort, cleanliness, amenities. We were a group of 8 women and with 5 bathrooms to share, we were never in one another's way. The amount of space was perfect and we enjoyed the ample natural light throughout the house. Being able to walk out the back door onto the Airport Mesa Trail was a huge bonus. My only negative is the alarms on the doors and windows. Terrible system for a rental property, and we had several false and very loud alarms. It wasn't clear how to disable the alarms (or if we could), and some guests weren't able to open their bedroom windows to let in fresh air. Otherwise, the weekend was perfect!

Beautiful home in a great location

6 ladies in Sedona for a girls trip. The house was in a great location, within a few miles of all of our hikes and dinner reservations. I would not say it is walkable to town, but close enough to be a short, convenient drive. There was plenty of sleeping room, bathrooms and shared space to be together. The pool and hot tub was a nice treat too. You can hike right from the property. Undoubtedly the best thing about the house was the absolutely beautiful views!

Cleanliness - The house was clean but the pool had a dozen plastic party cups in and around the pool and a clogged pool filter. Wasps – There are 2 wasp nests in the roof of the house and we had constant wasps flying around the pool area. Think about that! If you want to spend some relaxing time at the pool/spa, this isn’t the place. Door Alarms – There were 2 doors leading outside to the pool area from the kitchen and main bedroom and if you open them, an ear-piercing alarm goes off and doesn’t stop even if you close the doors. In addition, we didn’t find any instructions about these doors in the “house manual” Communication with the Property Manager (owner?) – I texted the property manager for help about the door alarms since there didn’t seem to be anything in the “house manual” about these door alarms or how to turn them off. I texted and emailed and he was non-responsive. Never did hear from him. To me this is a huge issue as a vacation renter not to have any property manager service. I guess once they have your money
 Furniture – Some may need replaced, dinning room table wobbles on the legs and the couch is broken down so you sink to the bottom when you sit which is not comfortable. Check In Process – The “house manual” is accessed by scanning a QR Code. That’s fine but if you have any technical issues (no internet, no cell phone, etc.) a printed house manual would have been helpful. Neighborhood - One neighbor is definitely against vacation renters.

Beautiful home

We were here after a family wedding! Perfect location and spacious enough for all ten of us! Weather was chilly so hot tub and fire pit were used every night - great size for our group. We had a problem with Internet, which effected the heated pool and spa one evening and no response from owner. Still give it a ten out of ten!!

Great woman’s weekend

Stayed with 11 friends - location was amazing right off some hiking trails. Views were stunning and house was amazing. Needs a few small updates (toaster broken, freezer door handle) but overall really fun and great place.
