Casita Amongst the Trees

You will immediately feel at home in this one-of-a-kind casita, with its delightfully curated color palette and fabulous architectural design. Natural wood, stone, and metal materials are artfully woven together to create warmth and coziness, while the large windows and soaring ceiling create spaciousness. Prepare coffee or meals in the well-stocked kitchenette, and relax on the outdoor patio surrounded by mature trees. A short walk or drive to Whole Foods, restaurants & trails!

This gorgeous casita has everything you need, including a surprisingly well-stocked kitchenette with two-burner gas cooktop, two sleeping areas for a total of three guests, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and beautiful stone tile.

Created by Sedona`s Design Group Architects, this casita is a stunning example of thoughtful, intentional design. You will be delighted by the use of colors and natural building materials that create a home like none other!

Cozy up,read a book, and open the huge windows to let the cool Sedona air flow through the home. With a ceiling that soars high above the living room, a ceiling fan, and a ductless AC/heat system, the space is comfortable year-round.

Outside, enjoy the fresh air under the umbrella that lights up with solar-powered LED lights. There is lounge and dining seating for three, and a wood-burning fireplace (wood can be purchased from Whole Foods 1/2 mile away). There is also a propane grill for your use. Mature trees provide shade, and spectacular ivy grows up the walls of the casita.

When you first arrive, you will park in the driveway in front of the garage, and follow the flagstone path to the backyard where you will enter the casita. The owners live in the main house that is near the garage and casita, but they do not use the casita`s patio.

BEDROOM
✔ Loft sleeping area accessed via the stairs

✔ Second toilet and sink in the loft for late-night bathroom calls
✔ NOTE: the loft ceiling is quite low, and slopes towards the outside walls of the building. Most guests will need to duck while moving about the loft. If you have any questions, please let us know before making your reservation.

LAUNDRY:

You will have full access to the casita, the backyard, and the laundry machines in the garage.

We live locally, and are available 24/7 if needed. We are just a message or phone call away throughout your stay!

You will be staying in a quiet residential neighborhood. Please be respectful of the neighbors :) You will be centrally located, and just a short walk or drive to many of the area`s top attractions.

Rideshares like Uber or Lyft are rare in Sedona, so we recommend bringing a car. You can take advantage of the Sedona Shuttle to get to popular trailheads where parking is difficult. The Posse Grounds Park & Ride is a 4 minute drive from the casita. Shuttles run year-round, Thursday thru Sunday.

The casita is connected to the back of the garage. The owners live in the main house which is separate from the garage/casita.

Violating any of the house rules can lead to your reservation being canceled immediately without a refund:

• We do not charge extra for additional guests. However, the number of guests staying MUST match the number of guests specified on the reservation. No unregistered guests are allowed on the property at any time.
• One small to medium-sized dog is allowed.
• No smoking or vaping inside or on property. Any evidence of these activities may incur a minimum $1,000 deep cleaning fee.
• Fires, candles, fireworks, and other open flames are prohibited
• No firearms allowed on property
• Do not move furniture
• Do not unplug, move, or tamper with electronic devices (WiFi, security system, locks, etc.)
• Parties, special events, and retreats are not allowed per City of Sedona local ordinance
• Minimum age to book a reservation is 25 years old. Additional guests may be younger.
• Guest making the reservation must have identity verified through Airbnb and a current phone number listed
• A $25 shipping and handling fee applies to items left behind

We are committed to complying with state and local regulations, which is why you will be asked to complete a guest verification process after booking.

You will receive an email and a text with a link to complete the verification. This process is completed by a third party company called Truvi. We do not see any of your private information.

Truvi will collect a non-refundable credit card authorization fee of $10. This allows them to collect reimbursement if damage is discovered after your stay, without having to actually hold a damage deposit.

Please be sure to complete this process WITHIN 24 HOURS of making your reservation. If the verification process is not completed, we cannot legally host you and we will be forced to cancel your reservation, potentially without a refund.
