Set on more than six private acres of vineyards and gardens in Sebastopol, this boutique vineyard estate offers two beautifully renovated homes—the elegant Vineyard House and the romantic Guest Cottage—surrounded by organically farmed Sonoma Coast Chardonnay vines.

Located in the heart of Sonoma’s celebrated wine country, the estate sits at the crossroads of the renowned Russian River Valley and Green Valley, just minutes from wineries, tasting rooms, Michelin-starred dining, cycling routes, hiking trails, and the dramatic coastline of the Sonoma Coast.

The Vineyard House is a bright, modern 2,400-square-foot luxury retreat featuring three bedrooms and two full bathrooms designed for seamless indoor–outdoor wine country living.

Floor-to-ceiling glass Nano doors open the main living and dining space to expansive vineyard views overlooking the solar-heated lap pool and spa, framed by neighboring Pinot Noir vineyards. The open floor plan centers around a chef’s kitchen equipped with premium appliances including a Viking six-burner gas range with dual ovens, a generous marble island perfect for gathering, a butler’s pantry, and a Shaw fireclay farmhouse sink.

Hydronic radiant floor heating keeps the home comfortable in cooler months, while energy-efficient air conditioning provides comfort during Sonoma’s warm summer days.

Just outside the glass doors, a private laundry room includes a washer and dryer for guest convenience. The charming pool house offers a vine-covered outdoor shower and shaded lounge area—perfect for relaxing between swims or enjoying a quiet afternoon overlooking the vineyards.

The estate operates on solar power with backup generators, ensuring uninterrupted comfort year-round. EV charging is also available for two vehicles at the main parking area.

~The Guest Cottage at Dalya Estate
The Guest Cottage is a lovingly restored 1920s farmhouse offering 1,400 square feet of romantic charm and modern comfort. The home features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a loft with an additional queen bed and double futon.

Original farmhouse windows fill the cottage with natural light and provide beautiful views of the surrounding gardens. The fully equipped kitchen features a vintage O’Keefe & Merritt range that adds character and charm to the home’s historic design.

A wraparound covered porch overlooks vibrant rose gardens and creates an effortless indoor-outdoor living experience. During cooler months, the cozy gas fireplace provides warmth and ambiance, while air conditioning keeps the home comfortable throughout the summer.
The cottage also features its own laundry area located just outside the kitchen nook.

Adjacent to the home is a beautifully landscaped lawn illuminated with cafĂ© string lights—perfect for magical alfresco dinners under the stars. A spacious screened-in porch offers a quiet space for reading, afternoon naps, or relaxing with a glass of local wine.

The property is surrounded by working vineyards and neighboring estates. As part of a functioning vineyard property, seasonal vineyard work occurs on the front portion of the property where the Chardonnay vines are located. The vineyard is organically farmed and all activities are free of harmful chemicals.

Guests are asked to respect local quiet hours so everyone can enjoy the peaceful wine country setting.

The tranquility of Sonoma County wine country

The best aspect is the setting in Sonoma County wine country. They could "improve" by increasing the quality of the beds, kitchen cookware, and glassware. For example, there were no champagne flutes, even though Iron Horse is next door.

Dayla Estate is a beautiful landscaped property with amenities that fit our large group very well. The owner was available and very helpful with local suggestions for activities, wineries and restaurants. Our best vacation to date and we have been all around the world!

Perfect for our family gathering

Situated both beautifully and conveniently, Dalya was a lovely and comfortable "home away from home" for our 3 generation family gathering. It enabled us to cook, relax, swim and spend quality time with one another while be smack dab in the middle of a variety of compelling vineyards to explore. The 2 houses and pool room accommodated our party of 10 perfectly. Great stay and the property management team was responsive and professional.

Great Property for a family or group

Our entire family enjoyed the property for our Thanksgiving this year. We rented both houses which gave our family plenty of room to relax. The main house has a large kitchen that was perfect for preparing and enjoying our Thanksgiving weekend together. My only suggestion would be to add patio heat and/or a fire pit to help enjoy the evenings outdoors. The outdoor spaces and gardens are beautiful and well maintained.

Amazing Family Getaway

This property was absolutely beautiful from the grand gated entrance to the surrounding countryside. We actually rented both the main house and nearby guesthouse which is located just a short distance away. Both of these were well maintained and lovely. We had a few occasions where we needed to contact the property manager and the response couldn't have been quicker! We even got to meet Dalya herself who was gracious enough to give us a history of both the estate and the surrounding area. We absolutely loved our stay and would love to return soon.

Feels Like Tuscany

When our plans to go to Italy got derailed, we looked for a place closer to our home in the San Francisco Bay Area to vacation for the summer. This beautiful farmhouse just blew us away, from the views, to the grounds, to the pool to the house itself. Our week there really felt like we had been transported to Italy. The accommodations are wonderful, with everything you need to make staying in a breeze. Lori, who manages the property, was amazing, checking in with us before we arrived and providing everything we needed for a contactless arrival. Moreover, she was gracious enough to allow some family members who were visiting during our stay to use the pool house to help maintain our social distancing. All told, it was a truly exceptional experience with a friendly and happy to help team in what are unprecedented times. I could not recommend this property any more highly, though perhaps the words of my 7 year old daughter sum it up best. "Daddy, can we got back to the Sebastopol house again next summer?"

Loved the house. Picturesque setting with a well appointed spacious kitchen that inspired cooking. Easy access to Sebastopol, Armstrong State Park, Russian River and wineries. Short scenic hop to Healdsburg. Plenty to do in the area but the pool and scenery and make it easy to relax in place. The kids loved it. The house itself is spacious and the manager was very helpful and responsive.

It's a wonderful place to stay for a quiet and relaxing getaway. Beautiful vineyard, trees, sauna and pool. Lots of fun things to do nearby in Sonoma and Napa. A great vacation spot for couples or a family.

Stunning, calming, serene

This is a well maintained property that will NOT disappoint. Everything is covered from a fully stocked kitchen to extra linens and towels, just in case. The pool is great for both kids to play and adults to do some laps, plus the outdoor veranda offers a stunning view and relaxing atmosphere. Neighbors are far far away so you feel like you're on the top of your own little mountain. 5 stars all around.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

We were lucky enough to spend a warm fall weekend here with our adult children. We couldn't have found a more wonderful home. The home is beautifully appointed and well equipped. From the bedrooms to the kitchen, everything is top notch. Knowlton Farm is also well located for visiting Russian River Valley wineries and restaurants. Our only question was; why didn't we stay longer? Next time!!!

Fantastic property comfortable for many

We rented both houses on the property and it was a perfect fit for our family. We were in Sebastopol for my son's wedding and our family converged from out of state to join us. The house is fully stocked, and the kitchen/dining area are open and accommodate a large group easily. The views and property are breathtaking (even with smoke in the air!). The pool and hot tub were used often. The property manager was very responsive before our reservation and during our stay. Would definitely recommend to a large group.

The best way to start 2018

We can't wait for our next trip to this amazing home. We had never been to Sebastopol, and left feeling like we have been seriously missing out on a slice of heaven! The wine and local community was amazing, but the house and the grounds surrounding were the highlights. We took lemons off the tree back to our home so we can savor the trip for another few days. Thanks again!!

Spectacular Inside & Out

My group and I had an amazing stay at Knowlton Farms. The accommodations are first class right down to the bedding and linens. The home is spacious with multiple living spaces and a kitchen beyond any chef's expectations. I swam in the 60' long pool in the afternoon to cool down, and started each day in the hot tub. The views from the back porch and pool area are of the sloping vineyards and garden. Other features include: Lush grounds, accessible garden, gated entry, central location, and very importantly a friendly & most helpful property manager.

Beautiful and relaxing stay!

This house is absolutely lovely (the pictures don't do it justice), very well decorated with plenty of amenities, and our group had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The property manager, Lori, was also great to work with in booking the property. Highly recommended!

Such a beautiful home and property, it far exceeded my expectations.

The home and property were so much lovelier than the images conveyed. The home was clean and tastefully decorated and equipped with top of the line appliances. The rooms were beautiful and the pool was scenic and picturesque, overlooking vineyards and gardens. Lori, the property manager, was extremely helpful and communicative. This is truly one of the most beautiful rentals out there and a great way to experience wine country in style and opulence.
