The home is conveniently located in Sunset Hill, directly across from Golden Gardens Park, a beloved and picturesque location on the Puget Sound. The neighborhood is a scenic, residential pocket of Seattle`s Ballard area, named for its west-facing viewpoints, and it`s especially loved for golden-hour walks and wide-open views over Puget Sound toward the Olympic Mountains.

The home is conveniently located near numerous fantastic dining options with a delicious coffee house and a local favorite pizza parlor just step beyond the front door. Staying in Sunset Hill makes it easy to enjoy Ballard`s neighborhood culture without the constant rush of downtown, and it`s conveniently positioned for exploring the broader Seattle shoreline.

This is a great `live like a local` base with quick access to the beachy energy of Golden Gardens Park and the marina at Shilshole Bay, where you can watch sailboats glide by and breathe in the salt air. The neighborhood`s signature green space, Sunset Hill Park, is a small but memorable stop that delivers dramatic sunset scenery and a classic Seattle coastal feel in just a few minutes.

EARLY CHECK-INS - Early check-ins are not guaranteed. The booking engine allows you to choose a preferred check in time, but it is up to the host to determine if any time before 4pm (depending on property) is feasible. Please send a message to us to request an early check in if you need to do so. The fee for early check-in is $25 per hour for every hour in advance of the check-in time.

LATE CHECK OUTS - Check out is no later than 11am. Late Check outs must be approved by the host. Late check outs are $50 per hour for each hour beyond the regular 11am check out. If guests stay past the 11am check out time without the host’s approval and without completing payment, guests will be charged for the next night’s stay.

MAINTENANCE - If a maintenance issue arises at the house, we will do our best to correct the issue as quickly as possible. We ask that our guests be patient and understanding with “fix it” requests. Emergency maintenance issues will be corrected before any minor issues. Examples of minor maintenance issues include the following: Failed blinds, curtains, light bulbs, a slow toilet flush, etc.

NO PETS ALLOWED- Our home is not pet friendly but ADA service animals are always welcome. Please let us know before booking. Anyone found to have brought a pet of any kind onto the property will be fined $500 and asked to remove it immediately.

EVENTS - There are no parties or events allowed at the listing. If the guests throws a party or event, trashes the space, damages the unit, disrespects the property, or has extra guests that are not disclosed/reported in the initial booking, the booking party will be charged a deep cleaning fee which maybe between $500-700. Additionally, a charge for carpet cleaning will also be charged which is dependent on the size of the home.

OUTDOOR AREAS - Please enjoy the outdoor amenities. In consideration of the neighborhood and other neighbors, we require guests to adhere to outdoor quiet hours (no music, loud talking or games). Strict quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am, daily. Failure to adhere to this rule can result in an additional fine of $100 per incident. The fee is charged at the discretion of the hosts.

CLEANING - The home’s cleaning fee is based on a courteous guest (someone that picks up after themselves, puts dishes in the dishwasher, towels in 1 pile, someone that leaves the place as they find it, etc.). This is not a hotel. If the housekeeping crew finds an unreasonable mess or anything is damaged, an additional cleaning fee of $50 per hour will be charged to the guest for each additional hour of cleaning or maintenance required. There is no smoking of any kind allowed at the property. This also includes any form of cannabis or vape both inside the residence and in the outdoor spaces. If any smoke debris or smell is identified during or after a guest’s stay, a $500 deep cleaning fee will apply.

Also please ensure that the number of guests matches your reservation as each person generates more to clean. There will be a $50 fine per guest at the property in excess of the reserved number.
