Surfrider Seaside - Oregon Beach Vacations

Surfrider Seaside, nestled above the Necanicum River, is the perfect, centrally located beach house for your large family or group. This beautiful and spacious Seaside home will provide your party of up to ten the ideal home base for your Oregon Coast Vacation.

Step off the covered front porch into a charming foyer and find a spacious living room with vaulted ceilings and big bay windows overlooking the river. The main living area includes comfortable seating around the brick fireplace, flatscreen Smart TV and a console piano for beach song sing-a-longs. You'll also find a farm-style table big enough to seat your entire party for formal meals.

Beyond the well-appointed kitchen you will find a smaller dining area with seating for four as well as two comfy reading chairs. To the left are slider doors leading onto a covered deck with BBQ and to the right is a cozy den with a flatscreen TV. The kids (and young at heart) will love the tribute to the Goonies movie the owners have lovingly provided.

Also on the main level is a laundry room and a guest bath with sunken tub. Take four steps down to find a spacious main floor bedroom with en suite bath, and a game room with ping-pong, English darts, beach games and more comfortable seating.

Head up the stairs to find the primary bedroom with a King size bed and en suite bathroom. There are three more bedrooms on this level, each with its own attached bath.

Whatever your reason for coming to Seaside, Surfrider Seaside will be your perfect home away from home.

This home is not pet friendly so please leave your pets at home, or make other arrangements for them.

Great location within easy walking distance to beach and downtown. Wonderful that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Fortunate for us that a staff person was at the property when we arrived because the Wi-Fi information given prior to arrival was different from what was actually required. Had to scrub a cutting board that was caked with food residue and some sheet pans were not clean. Also cobwebs in several areas.

The house was as described. We had trouble with the internet but finally got it working off and on. I read that each bathroom had a hair dryer but could not find one. Thankfully someone in our group brought one that I could use. As others noted, the carpets were badly stained. I feel the owners could have supplied more than was in the house (etc., foil to wrap food in, or baggies, and more large trash bags (there were only 3) as we had to purchase more) It is in a great location as we all walked to the beach and town.

This is a GEM stay!

When you have a large group that needs a clean, comfortable place to stay - look no further. This place was absolutely the best place we have stayed at, hands down, in the past 5 years we have been to Seaside, Or. While it's not a 5-Star Hotel, it's comprised of 5-Stars overall. Whenever we are in Seaside, Or - THIS is the place to stay!

Big home

Loved the house and antique furnishings. Loved the 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Great location. Floors were very dirty and stovetop had to be cleaned before use. I am a Mad magazine fan and loved the collection. Will stay here again.

Great Seaside stay!

A perfect house for us and our friends for the weekend while we were in Seaside for a wedding! We loved that we could walk everywhere from the house and that every couple had their own bathroom!!

Labor Day Beach Fun

The property was very spacious, and having a bathroom in every bedroom was a bonus! I would say if you rent this house just be prepared for this house isn’t an upscale beach rental by any means. The carpets are stained and could use a cleaning, but they are old so there is only so much you can do. The bedding and furniture is very ages as well. Plus side is you don’t have to worry about kiddos ruining nice things! We just lit a candle and all was well!

Good Location and Property

The location is great. Close to shops, parking, and beach. River and hillside views are nice. Each bedroom has an on suite, and there's one bath on the main floor. There's plenty of hot water for multiple shower users. Our four grandkids (ages 2-9) loved the house and enjoyed the ping pong and piano playing. Some of us walked to the beach, and some drove to the nearby public parking behind the Carousel Mall and then walked to the beach or stores. It was nice to have two dining areas, an open living room area in the front of the house, and a snug (smaller living room) in the back of the house. This house worked well for three families.

4th of July Week at Seaside

This property was perfect for our stay. Each individual/couple had a private bedroom and bathroom. The walk to the beach was 4 blocks and very doable. We enjoyed the promenade in both the north and south directions. The fireworks display was amazing both by individuals and the chamber. We would difinitely rent this house for future visits for this number of people.

Basketball Tournament Get-away

This home was perfectly situated for our needs. It was close to the beech but more importantly to us, close to the gym facility where our daughter was playing. The property was clean and represented accurately in the listing. It could use some updating in areas, but it was functional and worked well for our family. I was a little worried about getting access to the property. We didn't get the code to the door until about 10 minutes after the check-in time. That was a little bit of a challenge, but it all worked out. We didn't really have any interaction with the host once we got the email with the door code etc. Great property, we'll look to stay there in the future I'm sure.
