This fully updated 3-bedroom Seaside home sleeps 8 with a primary ensuite, modern kitchen with granite counters, and back deck firepit for coastal evenings .



The Space:

This 3-bedroom home sleeps 8 guests comfortably with elegant wood flooring and an open layout throughout.



The primary bedroom features a queen bed, walk-in closet, private deck access, and an ensuite bathroom with single vanity and shower/tub combo. The second bedroom includes a queen bed and smart TV. The third bedroom has a full futon plus a dedicated workspace with desk and chair for remote work.

The living room invites you to sink into plush leather sofa and recliner seating while streaming on the smart TV. The modern kitchen comes fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, drip and single-serve coffee makers, and a high-top dining table with seating for 4.



Step outside to the back deck where you'll find al fresco dining space overlooking the private patio putting green. The front patio offers additional seating, and the firepit creates the setting for evening conversations under coastal skies.

The Neighborhood:

You're one block from Laguna Del Ray, where you can walk the park trails, visit the weekly farmer's market, and enjoy your morning coffee by the water. Del Monte Beach is 1.5 miles away for picnics, swimming, and coastal walks. Downtown Monterey is a short drive with Monterey Bay Aquarium, Monterey Museum of Art, and dozens of seafood restaurants and boutiques along Alvarado Street. Jacks Peak Park offers hiking trails with panoramic views of the California coastline. Seaside State Beach provides year-round surfing and sunbathing. The neighborhood itself is quiet and residential, great for morning strolls and watching the sunrise from your front patio.



Getting Around:

Seaside sits along Highway 1 on the Monterey Peninsula. Monterey Regional Airport is approximately 3 miles away, about a 10-minute drive. Downtown Monterey and Cannery Row are roughly 3 miles north. Carmel-by-the-Sea is about 8 miles south via Highway 1, a scenic 15-minute drive. Big Sur's dramatic coastline begins approximately 30 miles south. San Jose is 75 miles north via Highway 1 and Highway 101, roughly 90 minutes depending on traffic.

We had a terrible experience with the property manager at this house. On surface level, the house was clean. In fact, it reeked of Lysol when we walked in. However, none of the amenities worked or were as advertised. No gas tank in the grill (which we had planned to use) and a ripped grill cover. Broken igniter on the fire pit. The putting green was completely grown over with weeds and not maintained, which was a huge disappointment to my son and the main reason we booked the house. There were even weeds growing out of the holes. Fridge water filter was expired. They were using a sharp dental tool to keep the outdoor furniture bin closed, which is gross and dangerous. Worst of all, there was ZERO bedding in the office/third bedroom for the futon. Only a stained dirty flat pillow. I had to make a special trip to target to buy all new bedding so my child could have a place to sleep. For 6 days, I tried contacting the host through the app, via text, via phone call, and even called the escalation line with the property management company. I sent photos through several different channels. I was told repeatedly they were escalating my call and someone would get back to me. Nobody ever did. So basically they were just trying to push me off. I finally reached out to VRBO. They also never heard back from the property manager. VRBO finally reimbursed me for the bedding and cleaning/maintenance fees, which accounted for about 30-40% of the cost for a two day stay. Do not recommend.

The place was ok. Unfortunately wasn’t ready at 4pm as promised. Not enough sheets for the futon in the 3rd bedroom. We used sheets from a friend. The backyard putting green was very disappointing because it wasn’t maintained and I wanted to have putting lessons with my grandchildren. Over sold and under delivered. The overall experience was average. We like staying in VRBO’s but will not visit this place again.

We used this place mostly just to sleep so I can't say much about the kitchen. It did sleep 6 adequately in that people had beds but that's assuming you have two people on both full size mattresses so if you're larger, then assume one person per bed. The extra sleeping accomodations come from sofa beds or a couch that folds flat. There's plenty of towels and plenty of space to lounge both on the front and back yards. Street park ing is a gamble but we never had issues while we were there and you still have the garage and driveway. All in all, the location of great for seeing everything in the area. I'd be willing to stay here again.

Arrived to property at 10pm after a long travel day to find the property had not been cleaned after last tenants. Dirty sheets and bedding and dirty bathrooms. Kitchen sink blocked and kitchen not clean. Despite 24/7 support advertised it was not. We had to purchase cleaning supplies and wash the bedding and towels ourself. Zero assistance or response. Terrible customer service.

It was a convenient location and the size of the place fit our needs. But the place had a pretty big infestation of ants- it started in the master bathroom (we probably killed 40-50 ants and had to keep everything out of it). We left for the day and thought we had properly stored all food items in the kitchen but when we came home, the ants had moved into the kitchen and managed to get into our sealed boxes and we had to throw away food we had bought for the trip. I have called the management company, Grand Welcome Vacation Rentals, 4 times and sent messages to them and they still haven't gotten back to me about reimbursement for the lost groceries. But they have emailed me to leave a review- go figure. Additionally, the master bath sink wouldn't drain so we had to call maintenance out, we weren't given enough wash clothes for the number of people we told them would be there and the ones they did provide had big stains on them. Even with the convenient location, I would not stay here again.
