Cette merveilleuse retraite de la famille est dans un emplacement idéal de prairie Sea Ranch. La maison est en harmonie avec la nature et offre de nombreuses fonctionnalités accepte les animaux domestiques et kid-friendly. Il y a deux chambres en bas.

Aussi est en bas une cuisine, salle Ă  manger et un espace spacieux salon avec cheminĂ©e en pierre, siĂšges de fenĂȘtre, et un enfant et plancher composite animaux de compagnie. A l'Ă©tage, un dortoir qui est tout simplement parfait pour les enfants de tous Ăąges. L'occupation maximale est de huit personnes et deux chiens peuvent vous rejoindre!

Cette maison a un grand bleu vue sur l'océan de l'eau et des ponts face à l'océan, juste la mendicité pour quelqu'un de s'asseoir et tranquillement contempler. Le Trail Bluff, Walk-On Beach, Tide Piscine Plage, Shell Beach, et de la marine préserver sont à une courte distance de marche.

Alors, que vous veniez au Sea Ranch pour lire votre livre prĂ©fĂ©rĂ© assis Ă  la fenĂȘtre, dans le bain Ă  remous ou sur le sentier Bluff, faites de Samson votre chez vous au Sea Ranch.

Nice Location

We had a positive response upon first entering the house--it looked clean and of course, we like the vaulted ceilings. The furniture and finishes are basic and practical. There should be better instructions for the fireplaces (we had to find the manual to get the pilot light on) and TV controls --we think one of the controls may need batteries as the buttons did not work well. Walking distance to shoreline and one can walk along the bluffs for a long ways. Good wave action against the rocks. There are some house maintenance issues, but they did not detract. Ants appeared in the Master Bath so we used the guest bath. Kitchen is a good size. Perhaps some of the kitchen items should be tossed, e.g. melting black plastic spatula, casserole dish that has handles on one side broken off. Can see some waves from the house.

Great Location, Property could use Updating

Overall, we had a very fun stay. The house is in a great location: close to coast trails and tide pools, beautiful view, close to Gualala. The house itself is functional but could use some updating: one of the beds had broken slats, the dishwasher didn't work (the detergent hatch didn't open, so we ran it with it open, a wheel kept falling off the lower rack), the kitchen counters are dented and warped (water damage), the lighting is dim (especially the kitchen), a dining room window is inoperable, the couch is shallow and uncomfortable, some of the dining chairs are wobbly. The hot tub was nice. The price is affordable.

I've been renting at Sea Ranch since 1995, fyi. The living spaces of the home were cleaned and the beds were comfortable. Some TLC and attention to some basic deferred maintenance would easily upgrade the quality of this home. - Screen doors - kitchen cabinet repairs - dishwasher ( needs wheels on the lower rack and the rubber seal needs repair - the one screen door is thick with dirt/ mold around the door and the screen is torn. - window hardware on multiple windows (broken) - caution tape around the hot tub enclosure was concerning and unsightly. - the temperature setting for the hot tub did not adjust, the light and jets did not function. - dish washing soap and a sponge/ scrubber are usual supplies provided. There were none. A renter should not have to spend vacation time calling the management/host with a list of repairs ( unless there is a true emergency).

Our family of 4 loves this property and its open layout, location, hot tub, 3 bedrooms, and proximity to the beach and playground. And ample window seats for gazing at the beauty of Sea Ranch.

Relaxing getaway

It was just as we had hoped and imagined. The location was amazing, and the hot tub was so private. We couldn’t figure out the fireplaces, but thankfully it wasn’t very cold while we were there. I’d suggest there be more clear and accurate directions on how to use them. We’d stay again for sure

Very disappointing

I have stayed in numerous vacation rentals at Sea Ranch and this was by far the worst! I had a bad feeling as got to the front door and there bits and pieces of trash on the outside and the building looked unkept. When i walked inside it smelt of dirty socks and the large windows were filthy both inside and out obviously not washed for months. There were water stains on the wood paneling, the main bathroom had black mold on the glass panel enclosing the shower. What window screens there were were torn and ripped. The living room slider did not even have a screen to keep flys out. I could go on. It was clearly bot taken care of nor worth the price. I left early due to a power outage. I did speak to Vacasa and the person i spoke to said he could come out and hose off the windows. But seemed silly at that point as the entire place needed a major cleaning. Had issues with wifi password. Hottub finally heated up. I paid over $400 in “fee’s” that should be refunded due to the non disclosure of the uncared and dirty home.

Sampson House

Lovely house, well situated in the central meadow area, equidistance between the seal rookery and walk on beach. Lots of light and well laid out. Appliances a bit funky, (dish washer refused to release soap so we ended up handwashing), but this was minor in light of location and bones of the house. A few suggestions: provide a bench for removing shoes at the door if, (as the sign indicates), you wish people to comply and not walk inside in outdoor shoes. It's completely unreasonable to expect 60+ year old's to stand there trying to balance, (or worse, sit on the floor) to remove shoes. We do this at home, so it's not the no shoe policy: it's the lack of follow through to make it work for all ages and abilities. There IS room for a bench to the side of the door. Second suggestion: hooks for towel s in the hot tub area. Lovely house, more attention to details and imagining how people may use the house more comfortqablely would be appreciated.

Absolutely cannot recommend this house to anyone

My husband surprised me with a 3 night getaway at this house- had I been the one searching, I likely would have passed on it based on the negative reviews, but my husband has never made a vacation rental booking and did not check them. I was expecting a dated home, as others have said, but this place just made me mad. I wish I could post pictures. I can handle outdated, but an uncared for, beat up house is another. The kitchen cabinets are original, never updated- grimy and barely hanging on (mind you, this house is probably about 50 years old). The furniture throughout was scuffed, scratched, broken, and worn out with peeling/bubbled up surfaces-with one of the once fancy, upholstered chairs now sitting on the floor with the legs broken off and the chair skirt sitting in a pile around it. The living room furniture is covered in fairly new slipcovers but one glance at the shredded sofa underneath (which is visible from anywhere in the room) I got a bit grossed out thinking about what was under. The master bedroom bed was old and worn out with flat, hard pillows and worn sheets. The deck outside had 4 plastic dining chairs, with one broken, as the only outdoor furniture that we were expected to use to enjoy the view. I could go on and on... Housekeeping was also a problem. My husband found a pair of men's briefs sitting on a chair next to the hot tub. Clearly, nobody has checked on the hot tub to make sure of it's cleanliness if the underwear went unnoticed so a little bummed about the extra hot tub charge as we obviously did not use it. There was also a broken glass on the shelf with shattered glass all over the shelf and with shards found inside of 2 other glasses; a flower arrangement was on the back deck that had probably been dead for weeks and why it had not been thrown out by housekeeping, I cannot imagine, In the kitchen there was a sponge, but nothing capable of scrubbing a pot with, so we found 2 pots in the cupboard covered in large amounts of dried-on food which was absolutely disgusting. And, not one dish towel in the house to dry a dish with... I did complain heartily to Vacasa in Gualala and to their credit, they credited us a night, but nobody should have to complain in order to be treated properly, as this house should not even be on the rental market. I laughed at the sign posted on the wall where you enter which asked guests to please remove their shoes... I mean as if the owners actually cared.

No one cares about this house

It was built. It hasn’t been upgraded. Only When something breaks, is it replaced. Renters’ concerns are placated, but not sure if anything is done. The cabinets are dirty from use; if you’re a cook, bring your own wares.

Beautiful Sea Ranch

We had a lovely and peaceful time! We spent hours on the beach, explored the hiking trails and watched the deer from the big front windows. Our four teenagers enjoyed it as well. Will return for sure.

Great house for fam weekend

The house was clean and very functional, but it could definitely use some minor repairs and updates especially considering the high cost of renting. Many of the blinds/ window/ door screens are damaged and need repair, the bathroom shower lighting flickered, the kids bedside lamps didn't work, the fridge was missing a major shelf, overall could use some paint and repairs here and there. We had a great family weekend and enjoyed our stay but felt the house was overpriced considering the lack of attention the house had received. But nothing major.

Comfortable Getaway

My husband & I found this dog friendly home perfect for us. We really liked the openness of the living room, dining area and kitchen. The view toward the ocean is lovely. The hot tub is nice and private. There are plenty of pots, pans, and dishes. This home sleeps 8. There are not enough glasses to handle that amount of people. There was also no aluminum foil, plastic wrap, ziplock bags or storage containers for leftovers. I would stay again and just be prepared the next time.

What a treat!

Exactly what we hoped for! The entire experience was easy, the house beautiful and clean and the location was amazing. The natural light that flooded the house in the evening was therapeutic and the short walk to walk on beach facilitated mini short excursions to the seaside. Would definitely return!

Great stay at Sampson House

This was our second time renting the Sampson house. Love the location and this home is one of few in Sea Ranch with a gas range! We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. One note for the property manager: electrical outlets in both bathrooms are not working.

Good stay but had issues.

Sea Ranch is awesome. This house was good but none of the electrical outlets worked in either bathroom, raccoons kept scratching at the window screens all night trying to get in and the outdoor grill did not work (only heated slightly) Never got an answer about the owner’s charge- which was costly. Wrote an e-mail questioning this but never got a reply. Never got a reply about issues also.

Relaxing Weekend Getaway Spot for Family

The Samson Getaway has a wonderful layout allowing for coming together across the living, dining and kitchen areas. The view to the ocean and the soft sounds of the ocean waves provide a calming and peaceful influence. Wonderful place for a weekend away with family.

Perfect Family Reunion

Being the first Holiday without our parents my two brothers and I needed a place to rendezvous . 8 people worked out well with two of the kids using sleeping backs in the family room. The open air design lent itself well to bringing us together. And the kitchen was well stocked with all the kitchen pots , pans and utensils to prepare our meals. A perfect place to start new traditions!
