The Bluebell is situated in Scalby View Apartments, built in 2022 and set back from the Scarborough to Whitby Road which winds its way over the picturesque North Yorkshire Moors National Park. You are in the perfect position to explore the beautiful coastline as well as the surrounding vast countryside. With a designated car parking space, you have the convenience of everything in these ground floor apartments.
Stepping inside you are welcomed into a beautifully presented open plan living area bathed in light with large windows as well as glass doors opening out into your private enclosed patio, where you can sit out and soak up the sun, perhaps enjoy al fresco dining with a glass of something special. The living area has comfortable seating around the large Smart TV, with a modern kitchen with integrated appliances. The dining area is complete with a dining table, perfect for enjoying romantic meals for two and the bedroom has a double bed with fitted wardrobes. Each room is carefully furnished to ensure you have a comfortable and welcoming stay. The apartment is finished with a shower room where you can start or end each day in this refreshing shower. A highchair and travel cot are also provided, you just need to bring your own cot linen.
In the village of Scalby you have a couple of friendly pubs, which serve hearty meals as well as the Daisy tea rooms with a lovely garden for sunny days. Scarboroughâs North Bay is just 2 miles away, with Ravenscar, Robin Hoodâs Bay and Whitby along the coast to the north, and Filey, Flamborough and Bridlington to the south. Making this an ideal base for those looking to enjoy Yorkshireâs glorious coastline. Hayburn Wyke is close by, a woodland walk with a waterfall cascading over the cliff top onto a secluded cove. There is an 18th century coaching inn here, serving hearty meals as well as tasty desserts, so why not treat yourself to some food after a busy day of exploring.
Alpamare Waterpark and Spa and the Open Air Theatre are only a 5-minute drive away. The open air theatre is the biggest in Europe with an exciting line up of artists throughout the summer months.
The Cleveland Way and the Cinder Track are scenic walking trails nearby, where you can take in the incredible views as you visit some of the prettiest towns and villages along the coast. At Bempton Cliffs and neighbouring Flamborough you will see thousands of nesting sea birds including gannets and colourful puffins. If you look carefully down into the sea you will see seals peering back at you as they bob in the waves. On the moorland you have beautiful red grouse as well as hundreds of pheasants who look incredibly elegant as they take to the air when startled by walkers. Watch the skies for buzzards and owls, and on sunny days you may spot basking adders. The North Yorkshire Moors National Park has some delightful little villages amongst the vast stretches of heather strewn hills and valleys. There is also the ancient Dalby Forest which has brilliant cycle and walking trails to be explored, as well as zip wires through the trees if you are feeling adventurous. Enjoy the great outdoors and take in your surroundings whilst having a welcoming base with a little touch of luxury to return to, making your holiday one to treasure.
