Location wise for us was great, 15 min walk into town, 5-10 min walk from peasholme park and not too much further to seafront. The property itself was fine, decently furnished although the sofa was terribly uncomfortable and the bed is really noisy to move around in! Dishwasher and washing machine were ideal, the TVs were great although bedroom one wouldnât connect to WiFi and the living room TV although directly plugged into WiFi struggled to play anything. We ended up using our data in the end.
The bathroom tiles were grotty and as you can see from the photos, the area next to the sink looks terrible. The kitchen wasnât much better, the sides werenât really clean when we got there and the paint was peeling all over.
I wouldnât stay again as couldnât wait to get back home from here.
Overall it was ok. The bed was noisy when you turn over. The Mattress never had a protective cover and thatâs really a must have nowadays. It was not cleaned to well with the floors having bits on it and kitchen area didnât look mopped. The WiFi is not secure and very poor anyway. Even the TV struggled to stream YouTube. There is not enough storage space for hanging clothes. A small wardrobe would be good. Totally inadequate extraction fan in bathroom as everywhere just got steamed up. The Management company should not hold your deposit for 14 days. The apartment would have been cleaned after we left so any damage would have been reported then but to wait more than 48hrs is bad.
Good points were it had a Washer/ Dryer, it was secure to be in, free parking on the street after 5.00pm till 9.00am, Local Car Park only 5 mins walk away, Two cafes within 5-8 minute walk for Breakfasts, ground floor so no stairs, well equipped kitchen apart from large glasses.
