Emplacement idyllique et vues imprenables depuis ce charmant cottage avec poêle à bois, le bourg de Pickering se trouve à proximité .. Rez de chaussée: Salon / salle à manger / cuisine avec carrelage. Escalier ouvert au premier étage: 2 chambres: 1 lit king-size, 1 chambre double. Salle de bains avec baignoire-douche et WC.. Wi-Fi inclus. Cuisinière à gaz. Laveuse / sécheuse. . Les deux propriétés: Poêle à bois dans le salon / salle à manger (carburant initial pour les réservations hebdomadaires inclus, carburant pour les courts séjours disponibles sur place). Chauffage central au gaz, gaz, électricité, draps et serviettes inclus. Lit de voyage. Chaise haute. Télévision TNT. DVD. Four micro onde. Lave-vaisselle. Réfrigérateur. Congélateur. Situés à la lisière du parc national des Maures de North Yorkshire datant du XIXe siècle, ces charmantes maisons de vacances occupent un emplacement idyllique dans une ferme en activité offrant une vue imprenable sur la campagne environnante du magnifique et paisible village de Brompton by Sawdon. Les cottages ont été construits avant 1853 dans le village qui est le berceau de l'aéronautique et où William Wordsworth s'est marié. À une courte distance en voiture du joli village de Thornton le Dale et de l’ancien bourg de Pickering, où vous pouvez monter à bord du train à vapeur North York Moors, détendez-vous et détendez-vous alors qu’il se fraye un chemin à travers la glorieuse Esk Valley jusqu’au Goathland, le propre village de Heartbeat . L’ancien port maritime de Whitby, réputé pour ses relations avec le capitaine James Cook et Dracula de Bram Stoker, et l’élégante ville balnéaire de Scarborough se trouvent à quelques minutes de route. La forêt de Dalby regorge de pistes cyclables, de pistes cavalières, de sentiers de randonnée et de superbes aires de barbecue et de pique-nique facilement accessibles. Avec le golf, la pêche et l'équitation sur place, il y en a pour tous les goûts. Le pub local sert des bières en fût, des cidres locaux et de la nourriture de pub. Second stay at Dragonfly cottage (have stayed at Gunluck many times before) , first came with my son and daughter-in-law, and i may add plenty of room. Immaculate cottage, so many homely touches...its brilliant. Beds are so comfy and robust. Stayed with my adult son who has special needs and he needs a strong bed, totally delighted with the whole cottage. Owners Jackie and Chris are so approachable and supportive with any query. Lovely place, felt very safe and very peaceful. The cottage was immaculate, i hope to return very soon . Highly recommended . Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Warm welcome and great attention to detail. Idyllic location with pleasant strolls from the front door ... the village is a delight ... unspoiled and very much a working village. The cottage was spotlessly clean, child friendly, and well equipped. Lovely range of DVD, books and some toys. The owners spare no effort in making people comfortable and there is a lovely welcome pack as well as extra free range eggs available at the farm gate ... zero food miles! This is a lovely cosy cottage, tastefully decorated and very spacious.

This is a lovely cosy cottage, tastefully decorated and very spacious. It’s a good location if you’re doing some of the Wolds Way. The pub in the village is closed, as is the tea shop, but there’s apparently a good butcher’s if you like pork pies! With a well equipped kitchen, we were mostly able to self cater and on our final evening we went to Walkers Fish Restaurant in Ayton, which was very nice.

This cottage is set in a peaceful and relaxing village on a sheep farm. There is good access to the coast, moors and inland. We were met by Jacqui who gave us a tour round. She had also provided a lovely welcome pack of tea, milk, eggs and cake. The cottage was exceptionally well equipped with unexpected extras around the building. There was everything anyone could wish for. The beds, chairs, sofas were extremely comfortable. The cottage was clean and decor excellent and warm in the cooler evenings. It was more spacious than the photos suggested. There is a sitting out area with table and chairs and also a sun porch for when the weather is less clement. We would definitely recommend this cottage and would be happy to visit again. Thanks for a great week.

Lovely, clean cottage. Just right for a party of 3 or 4 people. The welcome pack was much appreciated. Not far from Scarborough, Thornton le Dale and Pickering. Only complaint was the very small television! Would recommend to others.

Our second visit and again a lovely stay in a beautiful area of Yorkshire, the owners are so friendly and the children loved seeing the lambs. the cottage is equipped with everything you could need and the slow cooker was that extra touch and very handy. So much to do in the surrounding areas would highly recommend visiting Dragonfly cottage.
