Tucked beneath the trees in the heart of Harbor Country, The Acorn Cabin is a quiet Southwest Michigan retreat made for slow mornings, beach days, and evenings around the fire.

Inside, soaring ceilings, warm wood tones, local antiques, custom lighting, and large windows give the cabin a character all its own. After climbing the dunes, visiting Solasta Winery, or spending the afternoon along Lake Michigan, return to the cabin, light the wood burning stove, and settle into the peaceful wooded setting.
You will feel removed from the noise while staying close to the best of the area. Warren Dunes State Park and its Lake Michigan beaches are just 5 minutes away, Weko Beach is 9 minutes away, Solasta Winery is about 1 mile from the cabin, and Michigan Local Harvest Fruit Stand is only half a mile away.

The Acorn Cabin is an inviting escape for couples, small families, and friends looking to experience Harbor Country at a slower pace.

A Cabin Filled With Character
Custom lighting, warm wood tones, and thoughtful design details create an inviting space that feels relaxed and full of character. Large windows bring in natural light and peaceful views of the surrounding trees, making it easy to unwind after a day exploring Southwest Michigan.

Unique Open Loft Layout
The cabin features two fully open loft sleeping areas at opposite ends of the cabin, connected by a charming center catwalk.
Because the lofts do not have doors, this layout is best for families and groups who are comfortable sharing an open space.

The cabin sleeps up to 5 guests with:
• One king bed
• One full bed
• One twin bed

Shared Sauna and Hot Tub
Guests have access to a shared sauna and hot tub located on the property.
These amenities are shared among the five cabins, giving guests a relaxing place to warm up, soak, and unwind after a day at the beach or exploring Harbor Country.

Your Outdoor Space
Start the morning with coffee on the covered porch while the property comes to life around you.
In the evening, gather around your personal fire pit for s’mores, conversation, and time beneath the stars. A charcoal grill is also available for casual outdoor meals.

The Acorn Cabin is one of five cabins on the property. You will have your own private cabin, porch, and fire pit, while the sauna and hot tub are shared with guests staying in the other cabins.

Bring Your Dogs

Your dogs are welcome to join the adventure.
Harbor Country offers nearby trails, parks, beaches, and outdoor spaces to explore together. A maximum of 2 dogs is allowed, and guests are asked to bring a sofa cover to help protect the cabin furnishings.

• Maximum occupancy is 5 guests
• Maximum of 2 dogs
• Pet fee is $25 per dog, per night
• A $150 refundable security deposit is required
• A signed rental agreement is required
• The primary renter must be at least 25 years old
• Parties and events are not permitted
• Both loft sleeping areas are fully open and do not have doors
• The sauna and hot tub are shared among the five cabins on the property
• The property is seasonally open from April 1 through late November

As your host, it’s our goal to make your stay as comfortable as it can possibly be.

Our mission is to help our guests create beautiful memories.
For an optimal experience for us both, we’ve spelled out some house rules. Thank you in advance. We truly appreciate you staying with us.

• Your safety is our main concern and our insurance will only allow a MAXIMUM OF 5 GUESTS, including infants and toddlers.
• Please turn down the AC/heat when you’re away.
• No parties or events, an extra $500 cleaning fee will be applied if a party is thrown.
• Check-in is at 3 PM or after by Smartlock and check-out is at 11AM.
• Please observe quiet hours from 10 pm-8 am out of respect for other guests in the cabins.
• There is absolutely no smoking or vaping in the house or garage. If you smoke outside, please pick up the butts and dispose of them safely.
• There are security cameras present on the exterior for security and guest safety. Do not move or tamper with them.
• The base cleaning fee covers basic cleaning. Additional fees may apply if anything is damaged by more than “normal wear and tear” by dirt, spills, bodily fluids, etc. for using extra cleaning methods.
• For your convenience, we have left detergent for both the dishwasher and washing machine. Please take all bags of trash out to the outside trash bin.
• Please only flush toilet paper. Feminine Hygiene products, paper towels, q-tips, baby wipes, flushable wipes, cotton balls etc. need to be disposed of in the wastebasket.
• Pets are allowed in all cabins: Please bring something as a sofa cover to prevent pet hair build-up. Dogs must be leashed, cleaned up after, and crated when you are not present. Please don’t bring your pet if you’re not sure they will be well behaved and not destructive. We are dog friendly if your dog is friendly and quiet.
• No video productions without written consent from property owner.
• If anything is broken or damaged or simply isn't working properly, please report it to us ASAP.

It is always recommended that you get travel insurance for unforeseen circumstances.

Please adhere to the following hot tub rules and warnings to ensure a pleasant experience for everyone:

Hot Tub Rules
- Please shower before and after using the hot tub to protect linens.
- Use at your own risk. No lifeguard on duty. We are not responsible for accidents or injury.
- Local ordinances require the hot tub cover be replaced and securely strapped when not in use to prevent entry by young children and to keep it heated.
- Spa cover is not designed to support weight. Please do not stand or sit on hot tub cover.
- Do not enter if the temperature is above 104 F
- No glass in or near hot tub
- No jumping, diving or pets
- Limit your hot tub time to 15 min and cool off before using again. Long exposure may result in nausea, dizziness or fainting.
- Please do not use hot tub if you have diarrhea or any disease transmittable by water.
- Do not use under the influence of alcohol or narcotics.
- No children under the age of 12 should use the hot tub, they are much more prone to overheating.
- Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Warning: Please consult a physician before using if you are elderly, pregnant, have diabetes, heart disease, high or low blood pressure, any illness or if taking prescription medications.

We do our best to keep the indoors and immediate surroundings free from pests and nuisance. However, nature is mostly beyond our control. There might be poison ivy, ticks, bugs, bees and other woodsy things you find in the great outdoors. Red Arrow Cabins cannot be held liable for whims of Mother Nature.

Cancellation Policy: We are a small resort so cancellations affect us significantly. If you find it necessary to change or cancel your reservation, we require a minimum of 1 week. If you have reserved multiple cabins, we require 30 days notice prior to arrival. Cancellations made after that date will result in a charge of 100% of one night stay per cabin.

Guest agrees that failure to vacate the premises within the specified timeframe or at the end of the Guest’s scheduled stay shall be deemed trespassing, and Owner shall be afforded all protections, rights, and remedies available at law or in equity to any property owner against a trespasser. In addition, Guest shall incur a fee of $150 per hour for each hour Guest remains on the premises. The hourly fee shall accrue without limitation, be invoiced daily, and become immediately due and payable upon receipt of the invoice.
