THE SPACE
Stepping into Rabbit Run, you and your guests will immediately be swept up by the remarkable sense of style and taste throughout this exquisite vacation rental home. With a combination of open design and adjoining living spaces, each room has been professionally designed to create a sumptuous yet relaxed ambiance.

The fully equipped Chef’s Kitchen is a common place to gather for morning coffee or a bite of breakfast around the cute nook. Delicious vacation meals are easier to make when you’ve got this kitchen’s top-of-the-line appliances, excellent cookware, and plenty of room to move—and two dishwashers! The formal dining table seats 10, but there are plenty more seating and eating options nearby for larger groups. The family room’s cushy couches, gas fireplace, and cable-Apple TV make for another alternative dining—or wine-sipping—spot. The amazing woodland views add an extra-inviting vibe to the living room, where there’s also a book library with hundreds of titles, including kids' books, plus board games and puzzles galore, and a good collection of DVDs and VHS movies.

In addition to 3 bedrooms in the main house, there are 4 separate "suites" that have their own entrances in the front and back. The 2 upstairs suites are accessed via a common door and have access to a deck in the back with stairs down to the backyard. While these suites are "attached to the main house," you cannot reach the main house without going outside and walking to it. We cannot overstate how truly lush and beautifully styled each bedroom is—including flat-screen Apple TVs in many of the rooms. From the choicest furnishings and hand-selected art and décor to the lavish bedcovers and top-quality linens and pillows, no detail was left undone to provide a rich vacation experience and ensure a sound sleep and Sweet Dreams for you and your guests.

There’s also a nicely equipped laundry area with a high-quality washer and dryer for all your laundering needs.

Your outdoor relaxation options are many and plentiful here at Rabbit Run. Starting with America’s most popular sport—pickleball! We have a private and exclusive court that also doubles as a basketball half-court. Anyone wanting to try their hand at bocce ball, we’ve got a set-up for those interested. And if ping-pong is your jam, there’s a fabulous table set up in the party barn—a fun vibe runs free out there! There are two furnished decks for when you and your guests want to mingle, birdwatch, or just share a drink and chat together. By the way, there’s a gas grill for barbecuing, too! Another option is chilling out at either of the two gazebos out on the lawn. Or maybe you’d like to while away some time counting stars around the firepit—we’ve got you covered there, too. If there are kids in your party, the huge lawn area will offer them an open invitation to run around and play to their heart’s content! Last but not least, two porches have been furnished with comfy couches for those seeking a little ‘me’ time to simply enjoy the birdsongs on a vacation morning, afternoon, or evening.

Besides the fact that Rabbit Run is in Sawyer, Michigan—one of the most charming of all eight culturally rich Harbor Country towns—you’re also just a few minutes from Cherry Beach, providing you and your guests with the opportunity to head on over to enjoy one of Lake Michigan’s most popular crystalline-sand beaches. There are also numerous nearby parks, one of which is the majestic Warren Dunes State Park, featuring over 1,500 acres of hiking and biking trails galore through an extensive network of richly forested, spectacular sand dunes—featuring some renowned birdwatching opportunities—plus plenty of water-related activities to be explored, including boat, kayak, jet-ski, canoe, and paddleboard rentals. You’ll also be super-near acclaimed golf courses, art galleries, antique shops, boutiques, and restaurants, as well as coffee shops, brew-pubs, and wineries. Go ahead, people… have at it! As a final note, we should add this vacation rental property is pet-friendly—up to 2 dogs are uber-welcome here!

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
To ensure a safe and compliant stay, all guests are required to complete identity verification prior to check-in. A valid government-issued photo ID will be collected and verified, and the name on the ID must match the credit card used for payment. When applicable, a background screening may also be required as part of the booking process.

All guests are required to review and sign Juniper Holiday + Home's Guest Occupancy Agreement prior to check-in. While we understand that events can affect your trip, it is our policy to stick to the agreed-upon cancellation policy in the listing. We recommend purchasing vacation travel insurance if you suspect you may need to cancel your reservation.

The minimum age to rent this home is 25.

A non-refundable Accidental Damage Waiver is included with your reservation. This waiver covers accidental damage or loss to the rental property caused by you or members of your party up to a maximum of $2,000. This plan does not cover intentional acts, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.

We welcome up to 2 dogs at this home at no additional charge. Please include the number of pets you plan to bring or let our team know after booking. 

Out of respect for our staff and their families, we do not permit check-ins or check-outs on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Thank you for your understanding.
