The Space:

Summary:



This three-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage offers 1,850 square feet of living space across two levels. The main floor features an open-concept great room with 20-foot lofted ceilings, a fully equipped emerald green kitchen, a round dining table for four, and a comfortable living area with a smart TV.



The master bedroom has a king bed and an en-suite marble bathroom with a walk-in shower.



The guest bedroom has a queen bed with a full bathroom across the hall.



Upstairs, the loft bedroom is accessible via a spiral staircase and includes a daybed with trundle (sleeps two), a workspace with desk, and a TV.



A screened side porch, in-unit laundry, and central climate control round out the space.

Originally built during the Reconstruction era, this 1,850-square-foot home has been thoughtfully restored to blend its original architectural character with modern comforts and upscale finishes throughout.



The heart of the home is the open-concept great room, where 20-foot lofted ceilings soar above a sun-filled living, dining, and kitchen area. A show-stopping emerald green kitchen features butcher block countertops, subway tile backsplash, and a fully stocked collection of cookware, dishes, and small appliances for preparing everything from a quick breakfast to a full family dinner. A round dining table seats four, and the living room offers a comfortable sofa, smart TV, and cozy accent chairs for unwinding after a day of exploring.



A spiral staircase leads to a spacious loft with a daybed (two twin mattresses and a trundle), a dedicated workspace with a desk, and its own TV, making it the perfect retreat for kids, remote workers, or anyone seeking a little extra privacy.



The main level features a master suite with a king bed and a luxurious en-suite bathroom with a marble walk-in shower and brass rain showerhead, plus a guest bedroom with a queen bed and a full hallway bathroom with a tub/shower combo.



Outside, relax on the screened side porch with a cool drink as you take in the lush, tree-canopied surroundings that make Isle of Hope one of Savannah's most beloved neighborhoods.

Guest Access:

Guests have access to the front home, including all three bedrooms, two bathrooms, the kitchen, living and dining areas, the loft, and the screened side porch.



The in-unit washer and dryer are available for your use, along with all kitchen appliances and cookware.



Two assigned parking spots are located directly in front of the property (parallel parking along the road).



Entry is via keyless smart lock on the front door.

The Neighborhood:

Isle of Hope is one of Savannah's most picturesque and tranquil neighborhoods, known for its moss-draped live oaks, historic homes, and stunning waterfront views along Bluff Drive.



Originally established as a summer retreat in the 1840s, Isle of Hope still feels like a world apart while being just a short drive from downtown.



Nearby, you will find Wormsloe Historic Site with its iconic oak-lined entrance, the Isle of Hope Marina for waterfront dining and sunset strolls, and Skidaway Island State Park for hiking and nature trails.



For dining, local favorites include The Wyld Dock Bar for waterfront seafood, Cohen's Retreat for upscale Southern cuisine in a historic setting, Sandfly BBQ for award-winning barbecue, and Tequila's Town for authentic Mexican food. The Five Spot and Castaways Bar and Grill are also popular nearby spots for casual bites and drinks.



Getting Around:

A car is recommended for getting the most out of your stay.



The cottage is located approximately 15 minutes from the Savannah Historic District and River Street, 15 minutes from Forsyth Park, and about 25 minutes from Tybee Island. Wormsloe Historic Site is just 5 minutes away.



The neighborhood is peaceful and walkable for strolls along Bluff Drive and the marina.



Ride-share services (Uber and Lyft) are readily available in the Savannah area.



Free on-site parking is provided with two assigned spots directly in front of the cottage.

We ask that the space, other guests, and our neighbors are treated with dignity and respect. Please respect the home and its rules. This will help us maintain peace and ensure that all of our guests have a wonderful Savannah Stay!



This is a home with two separate rental spaces. The main home, which you have rented, does not include the studio in the back. Please inquire if you are interested in adding it to your reservation. It will otherwise be rented to other travelers during your stay.



Free parking is found on the front of the property, but please do not block the street, do not park on the grass, and do not block the studio's assigned spot (on the left side when looking at the property). This residential area is shared with other residents, and the roadway must be free and clear of vehicles at all times. Please do not park in front of a neighbor's home.



Please be aware that even though we spray for bugs on a quarterly basis, you might see palmetto bugs, wasps, and other insects during your stay. They usually come out to die, but please do your best to keep them out of the house by keeping the windows and doors shut at all times, only bringing food items to the dining room, and keeping trash in the trash can.



Interaction with Guests:

We live close by, so we are available to our guests day and night. You are welcome to reach us via the app or by calling us anytime. We are here for you!



You are set up for self-check-in. The codes and instructions will be sent to you via the app by 3 pm on your arrival day, but please, wait until the agreed check-in time to enter the property. Please reach out to us if you are interested in coordinating an early check-in. It comes at a $50/hr charge and is not always guaranteed.

You can park up to two compact cars front to back on the parallel parking spots at the property. Please do not park on the grass, the street, or the studio parking spot.
