Located on sought-after Gaston Street, is newly constructed and furnished to provide guests a tranquil and luxurious stay just steps from Forsyth Park and the walkable squares along Bull and Abercorn Streets.
This full property is the second in a row of five Italianate townhouses built in 1884 by JJ Dale & David Wells, influential figures of their time, spanning 108 to 116 East Gaston. Itâs also the third house from Drayton and Gaston Streetsâright at the edge of Forsyth Park.
The mansion is divided into three unique residences; this listing is specifically for the Carriage House situated behind the Main House.
Guests enter via Gaston Lane, which Savannah locals refer to as a "LANE" rather than an alley. This lane runs parallel to Gaston Street, featuring double iron gates and a garage entrance accessible with a private code.
After entering the courtyard through a butterfly garden, guests ascend one flight of stairs to reach the Carriage House entrance. The deck, with seating for two, overlooks the peaceful courtyard and fountain below.
Newly built in 2023, the carriage house features a modern exterior clad in durable Brazilian Ipe wood, harmonizing well with the historic 1884 main residence.
Inside, soothing Celadon Green walls and vintage furnishings create a cozy, lux atmosphere.
Upon entry, youâll find a kitchenette. *Note: there is NO stove or oven. We have outfitted the kitchen with a countertop toaster oven, drip coffee maker, and an electric tea kettle. A full-size fridge has ice trays and a filtered water pitcher beside a stackable washer/dryer, and ironing supplies for your convenience.
The living room offers a comfortable vintage sofa, upholstered poufs, and a smart TV, with plenty of daylight making it inviting and warm. This affordable retreat is perfect for couples or friends eager to picnic and explore history at Forsyth Park and beyond.
The bedroom includes a king bed, closet, and full-size dresser. The bathroom features a spacious walk-in shower, vanity, and toilet. Both air conditioning and heating operate via split-system units in the bedroom and living room, controlled easily by one remote control.
Guests can relax in this safe, private oasis and stroll effortlessly to everything Savannah has to offer.

*Minimum age to reserve is 25 years of age, no exceptions.
*Maximum occupancy at ALL times is 2 people. This is home is NOT a good option for babies/infants.

*NOISE: This property is NOT PARTY friendly. We do not allow loud noise, loud music, public drunkenness, or parties of any sort.

This is a family oriented neighborhood with year-round tenants. Violators may be evicted and/or fined. The City of Savannah Noise Ordinance requires strict observance of QUIET TIME between 10 pm and 8 am. Savannah Police and the neighborhood strictly enforce this. The individual violators can be fined and/or EVICTED.
*No pets or smoking allowed.
PARKING:
This area has metered street parking Monday through Friday, free on Saturday/Sunday and uses Meter Pay Stations on each block. Parking is limited on Gaston Street but easier to find on surrounding blocks.
Visitor Parking Day Passes are available for 24hours/$15 and 48hours/$24 and can be purchased at the City of Savannah Parking Services Office.
