The VRBO had all of the bedrooms and bathrooms that were promised, and overall it was fine for a short stay. That said, there were several issues that made it less than ideal. First, the property was a little difficult to find because the address led us to the driveway next door, so clearer directions would have been very helpful. The house itself is older and only has window-unit AC in some rooms (not all), so I wouldnât recommend staying here during very hot weather.There were also a few inconveniences with basic amenities. The trash cans were left all the way by the road, so we had to walk out there every time we needed to throw something away. In our bedroom, only one towel was provided, and we couldnât find any extras anywhere in the house. The host was also very limited with supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bagsâonly one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, two paper towel rolls total, and two trash bags for the entire stay.One of the biggest concerns was the lack of communication from the host. Before check-in, I asked three separate times whether the house had a toaster and never got a response. That made me worry about how difficult it would have been to get help if there had been a more serious issue during our stay. The house also showed signs of age and wear, including water stains on several walls and standing water left in the washing machine.Overall, you get what you pay for. The house was okay as a place to sleep for a night or two.
