Book a quintessential Savannah getaway at this meticulously preserved garden apartment. Originally built in 1844 for harbormaster John Low, you will be immersed in Savannah's rich history. Located on the corner of Jones St and Tattnall St, you will be just steps away from Pulaski & Chatham Square, & .4 miles to Forsyth Park. You can stroll down the iconic Jones St with a cup of coffee and you will be in walking distance to all the luxuries of the Historic District. We can't wait to host you!

The Space:
Prepare for the most charming stay in Savannah!!

Welcome to this stunning lower level fully furnished apartment on one of the most iconic streets corners in Savannah’s Historic District. You will be on the corner of Tattnall Street and Jones Street, where history meets modern luxury! Step inside this meticulously maintained lower level apartment where you will enjoy a private entry that opens into a spacious open concept living room, dining area and fully updated kitchen. You get to enjoy two historic non operational fireplaces, exposed wood beams on the ceilings, natural sunlight beaming through the windows and stunning herringbone tile floors.

The apartment offers a cozy and comfortable queen size bedroom with fresh linens provided. The apartment has one full bathroom that has been recently updated with stunning marble tiles through out. Plush bath towels are provided for guest use.

The living room sofa does open into a full size sleeper sofa. Sheets, pillows and blankets are provided. There is a 40in TV with Roku and wifi included. Cable is provided through the Xfinity streaming app. There is a designated work area as well.

The apartment is best suited for 3 guests, but can hold up to a max of 4.

There is a laundry closet with a washer, dryer, iron, and clothing steamer.

Located just steps away from Savannah's most iconic squares, parks, and attractions, this home puts you within walking distance of the city’s best dining, shopping, and historic sights. Located just three blocks from the Savannah Civic Center, convenient to the new Enmarket Arena. Whether you're strolling through Forsyth Park, exploring local art galleries, or indulging in Southern cuisine, everything is just moments away.

Guest Access:
Guests will have full access to the lower apartment on the ground floor of the house. There is a shared gate entrance to the lower apartments, but a separate door entrance to this specific apartment.

There is metered street parking available surrounding the apartment and also a city garage just a short walk (a couple blocks) away. Street parking can be paid through the ParkSavannah app and is free after 5pm and on Sundays.

Street sweepers do come through at night and you will want to check the street signs to see when to avoid any tickets.

The Neighborhood:
Nestled just steps away from iconic Jones Street, this Airbnb is situated in one of the most charming neighborhoods you'll find. Picture tree-lined cobblestone streets, flanked by historic townhouses with elegant ironwork balconies, where every corner whispers of Southern charm and old-world elegance. The neighborhood is an inviting mix of timeless beauty and modern convenience, with cozy cafes, boutique shops, and art galleries just a leisurely stroll away. Enjoy the tranquility of the area, where you can walk everywhere, from parks to vibrant nightlife and some of the city's top dining spots. The dreamy live oaks covered in Spanish moss offer a peaceful retreat, perfect for morning walks or an afternoon picnic, making this location ideal for anyone seeking to experience the full low country charm of Savannah!

Getting Around:
Exploring Savannah's Historic District from this rental will make your trip extra enjoyable, thanks to its convenient location in the heart of the city. The area is highly walkable, with most of the area's iconic attractions just a short stroll away. Wander through the picturesque squares, marvel at the Spanish moss-draped oak trees, and discover hidden gems like charming cafes, unique boutiques, and historic landmarks at every turn.

For longer trips or when you're feeling less inclined to walk, Savannah offers a free shuttle service called the DOT, which circles around the historic district, making stops at key points of interest. Bike rentals are also readily available if you want to pedal through the district's scenic streets. Ride-share services and traditional cabs are easy to find, and parking is convenient if you’re driving in from out of town. Whether you prefer to walk, bike, or catch a ride, getting around the Historic District is both easy and enjoyable!

Other Things to Note:
The rental is located in the heart of downtown, yet on a more residential street. There are some city noises such as trash trucks, ship horns, sirens, trains and vehicle traffic that you may not be accustomed to. We do provide a sound machine for you just in case.

Guests should also know that rental is just the lower level of the house. There are full time residents living in the main house and they do have a dog. They do their best to keep noises to a minimum but it is an old house, you are are likely to hear walking around above you from time to time. If you are super sensitive to noise this may not be the best rental option for you.

We are available by Airbnb messenger and also provide a contact number prior to arrival. We do our best to be available for your needs, while also giving you the full space to enjoy your stay! We provide a guidebook full of our favorite local places to eat, shop, and visit!
