Sunshine Cottage is a beautiful historic Saugatuck home with updates in all the right places.

The front screen porch will welcome you in. Relax on the comfortable sectional and watch the world pass you by. Sip your morning coffee, read the morning paper, or just kick back and let the breeze take your worries away.

The living room features convenient built-ins, cozy furniture, and a flat-screen TV with basic cable and more. For a rainy afternoon in or to unwind at the end of the day, you will be more than comfortable in this space. 

The eat-in kitchen has been updated to perfection. Marble countertops grace the beautiful, modern cabinets, and large sliding glass doors open to the back deck. This kitchen has everything you would need for either a quick snack or a full meal at home. Clever storage compliments the cozy kitchen - hint: look in the island for more cupboards! Cook meals together in the bright kitchen, then enjoy your meal outdoors on the fairy-tale patio under the lights in the evenings. This cottage has all the amenities to host a dinner with your loved ones.

Play games, or just cozy up and re-connect as a family on the plush, outdoor seating and beautiful garden space with fencing for privacy that makes this spot feel like its own little world.

Two ample bedrooms provide sleeping for 6. The main bedroom has a queen bed and a Smart TV. The second bedroom has a queen bed plus a twin bunk bed and a Smart TV. There is one full bathroom, but it is beautiful and has been updated with you in mind... Plenty of storage, an extra wide sink, and a custom tile walk-in shower.

Situated in the heart of downtown Saugatuck, you will have everything at your fingertips. The river is only 2 blocks away and restaurants and bars start 3 blocks away. Downtown Saugatuck has a local farmer's market, live Broadway-quality theater, an array of casual and fine dining establishments, parks, the waterfront boardwalk, and more. There is something for everyone!

Lake Michigan can be found less than 5 miles away by car (or 1 mile by ferry and foot) at our "famous" Oval Beach.

Sunshine Cottage is a happy place to call home for your stay in Saugatuck/Douglas!

Please Note: 
This is a small cottage, about 800sqft. There is minimal storage space (closet and dresser) in the bedrooms. In the kitchen, some of the items can be found in the cupboards in the island which are a bit hidden.
All TVs are Smart. Log in to stream your favorite apps.
The bunk beds are best suited for children. There is also a sofa sleeper available for alternate sleeping accommodations.
