This classic Lake Michigan Cottage is ready for you to enjoy. 

Beautiful hardwood flooring, cottage-style decor, and large windows overlooking all the beauty of Lake Michigan. You will love the charm this classic cottage provides. 

Located on prestigious Lakeshore Drive, this is the perfect location for sunset views and daily strolls along the lake. A scenic half mile along Lakeshore Drive you'll find the Douglas Beach where you can access Lake Michigan beach. Squish your toes in the sand, splash in the cool water, and soak up the sunshine. This public beach is free, has restroom facilities, and recently upgraded stairs to access the water. You also have the option of visiting our famous Oval Beach which is an easy 3-mile drive.

The main level of this cottage is perfect for spending time with your loved ones. Forming living room has comfortable furniture and the most amazing view of Lake Michigan including daily sunsets. Tucked back just adjacent to the living room is a den with a large sectional sofa and a Smart TV. Curl up to enjoy a movie after the sunset has ended.

The spacious dining room is perfect for meals at home and boasts full views out over Lake Michigan. The adequate kitchen has a range, microwave, and plenty of space to cook up a meal. Or, step just outside the back door to the patio area where you'll find a barbeque grill to cook dinner in the great outdoors. 

Head upstairs where your room awaits! There are four bedrooms, two of which boast direct Lake Michigan views. The king bedroom has a comfortable bed and plenty of space to keep your items including all the new treasures you found in town. The queen bedroom also has views of Lake Michigan and plenty of space, but this room has a flat-screen Smart TV as well. Two additional bedrooms, each with two twin beds, can be found one on each end of the home.

Head outside to the front yard where you'll find a fire pit and outdoor chairs. What an ideal place to watch the daily sunset while making memories with your loved ones. Roast up some marshmallows and build the perfect s'more for an evening treat. The backyard space has a small sitting area and a basketball hoop. 

If you're looking for a bit of adventure around town, you'll have a variety of activities to choose from. Whether you're looking for on-the-water activities like boat tours, boat rentals, or fishing charters; retail therapy via the many shops, galleries, and boutiques; or a culinary feast at one of our many fine, casual, or take-away dining establishments, there is something for everyone.

You will love having Summer Haven as your home away from home while visiting Saugatuck/Douglas so much, that it may even become a tradition.

Please Note:
This home boasts beautiful views of Lake Michigan during all four seasons. However, direct access to the beach is not offered. For a day on the sand, you can access the beach only 0.6 mile away at the Douglas Beach. This is a beautiful walk or a quick drive. Douglas Beach has free parking, bathrooms, and about 100 steps from the street to the sand. If you prefer a no-step access, we recommend visiting Oval Beach only 3 miles away. The Oval Beach has bathrooms, a playground, parking right at the sand, and requires a daily fee. 
There are two full bathrooms, but the upper-level bathroom has only a tub (no shower). 
All four bedrooms are located on the upper level.
There are 2 Smart TVs for you to enjoy streaming all your apps. Please make sure to log out of your accounts before departing. Cable TV is not offered at this property.
This home is on a septic system. Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper. If you flush other items, such as feminine products, it will cause a sewage backup into the showers. Please only flush toilet paper.
