Tucked into a serene, wooded setting yet just minutes from downtown, this expansive retreat offers the perfect balance of privacy, comfort, and easy access to everything the area has to offer.

With five private bedrooms and multiple additional sleeping areas, Great Escape comfortably accommodates large groups while still offering plenty of room to spread out. From the moment you arrive, soaring ceilings, warm finishes, and generous living spaces create a welcoming atmosphere that feels both luxurious and relaxed.

The main level is ideal for gathering together. The open living and dining areas invite conversation, shared meals, and cozy evenings by the seasonal fireplace. A large dining table seats 14 comfortably, with additional seating nearby to ensure everyone can come together for meals, celebrations, and game nights. The adjacent kitchen features upgraded stainless steel appliances and is fully equipped for everything from quick breakfasts to memorable group dinners.

Outdoor living is a highlight of this home. Multiple decks, porches, and balconies overlook peaceful natural surroundings and a gently babbling brook. Whether screened, covered, or open to the sun, these spaces are perfect for morning coffee, afternoon card games, or relaxed evenings enjoying the fresh air. A propane fire pit and outdoor gathering areas add to the inviting setting.

The bedroom layout is thoughtfully designed for comfort and flexibility. A main-level bedroom and bathroom provide easy access for those avoiding stairs. Upstairs, three bedrooms offer quiet retreats, including a spacious primary suite with a king bed, gas fireplace, sitting area, private balcony, and full bathroom with a walk-in shower. Additional bedrooms feature king beds, cozy seating areas, and a shared full bathroom, along with a convenient laundry room.

The lower level is an entertainment destination all its own. Movie nights become an event in the private theater, complete with a massive 110" screen, theater-style seating, and surround-sound speakers. The game area includes a pool table, air hockey, and pop-a-shot basketball, while additional sleeping areas make this level ideal for kids or late-night hangouts.

When it's time to explore, Great Escape is just minutes from downtown Saugatuck's shops, restaurants, harbor, and entertainment. Lake Michigan beaches—including Oval Beach, Douglas Beach, and Saugatuck Dunes State Park—are all within a short drive, offering endless options for swimming, hiking, and sunset watching.

- Great Escape is located 1 mile from the main downtown Saugatuck streets.
- This home is nestled in a beautiful natural setting where wildlife and insects are part of the charm. Routine pest control services are in place to ensure the comfort of our guests, but on occasion, a curious critter may make its way inside, especially if doors are left open. If you notice any evidence of pests indoors, please notify our office promptly so we can address the situation.
- The jetted tub in the primary bathroom is not available for use and is not part of the rental.
- There are several security cameras outside. The Ring doorbell camera records sound and video when motion is detected. A side yard camera facing the fire pit records sound and video when motion is detected. The camera facing the side garage door records sound and video when motion is detected. The floodlight camera overlooking the back deck records sound and video when motion is detected.
