Coco Joya #11 is a stylish two-bedroom condo in El Coco located just three blocks from one of the most popular beaches in Guanacaste.



The Space:

This 1,001 sq. ft. (93 mÂČ) condo features a warm, inviting design, with colorful furniture and decor, and a spectacular dining terrace with sweeping ocean and mountain views.



This condo features a spacious living room with high ceilings, a comfortable armchair, a couch that converts into a sleeper sofa, a wooden coffee table, and a flat-screen TV. The kitchen features a breakfast bar with four chairs, high-end wood and granite countertops, and essential appliances, including a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, freezer, and dishwasher. The living space is decorated with colorful artwork, tropical decor, and potted plants that perfectly capture Costa Rica’s “pura vida” lifestyle.



Coco Joya #11’s most coveted feature is the screened-in terrace that offers sweeping views of the lush greenery and sparkling ocean in El Coco. The balcony features a ceiling fan, a high-quality wooden table that seats six, and a seating area with a couple of chairs. The double doors to the terrace can be opened to create an effortless walkway between the living room, kitchen, and dining space.



This two-bedroom condo can comfortably accommodate five guests. The master bedroom features a comfortable king-sized bed, high ceilings with a ceiling fan, and a private ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and stylish vessel sink. The second bedroom features a double bed, a large window, and a ceiling fan, and is conveniently located next to a bathroom with a walk-in shower and sink.

The Neighborhood:

This big town/little city on Costa Rica’s Gold Coast has it all, starting with a gorgeous, blue-green bay dotted with fishing boats, dive boats and sailboats offering sunset tours.

In front of the popular beach is a winding promenade with a basketball court and skate park, and the area is rich in hotels, restaurants, bars and stores catering to every need.

Known for its vibrant nightlife as much as its chill pace, Playas del Coco claims to have been the first beach town in Guanacaste reachable by road. Its proximity to the Liberia airport is a plus, and it’s even closer to the nearby beach towns of Ocotal and Hermosa.

On weekend nights on the main drag, live music and DJ beats pour out of the popular Zi Lounge and Coconutz restaurants (among others).

Coco is home to an upscale Auto Mercado grocery store, the exclusive Pacifico resort community and much more. Many foreigners have come to visit and never left. You can often find these happily aging expats swapping tales at the big rubber tree in front of BambĂș Beach Front Bar, or just watching the world go by from one of the open-air bars downtown.



Getting Around:

Our agents will be happy to assist you with renting a car, giving you the freedom to explore the area where you want, when you want. For short drives to nearby towns or beaches, golf carts are another popular mode of transportation. You can also rent a bicycle to ride around in town or beyond.



We can arrange transfers to and from the airport. Rental cars can also be delivered to your property at no additional cost, allowing you to relax and enjoy the scenery as our private van drives you here from the airport.



Taxis are available but can be a bit hard to find. Many locals use buses to get around, though there are a limited number of routes and times of day when you can catch them. Private shuttles can be a great option for traveling to nearby destinations, and many tour companies offer transportation to and from the tour. Our information brochure will provide you with useful information on local transportation options and points of interest, as well as contact information for taxis and shuttles.

Fantastic customer service

Many thanks to Special Places of Costa Rica for making this a seamless experience. Although the weather was not our friend during our stay the communication between us and the host made our trip much more enjoyable. The property is well located and in very good condition. The condo was very comfortable, and the amenities well appreciated. Highly recommend.

This property was great and spacious. We loved the view from the pool and the screened in porch. The only thing we didn't like was that we had to check in by 6pm or we'd get a late check in fee. We had to meet the management company to get the keys, which impacted the plans we had for the rest of the day. It would be so much better if we could have had a contactless entry and arrived on our own terms without penalty. We also had to return the keys about a mile away. It took a bit to find the location to drop off the keys. If we didn't have a rental car, it would have been really hard or been an extra expense to get there.

Nice Condo

Everything was good. Actually enjoyed it better than anticipated. The only downside was the pool area. Whereas it had a great view and the pool itself was good, the area was not properly maintained. There were only three loungers that actually were usable and the chairs were all broken. I mean really broken. Weeds were prevalent in-between the pavers. Still enjoyed it although I had to put cushions on the ground to lay out.

Very happy with our stay here and would return. A bit smaller than the pictures would have you believe but that’s strategic photography for you! No water the first morning but that was throughout the whole neighborhood-be prepared. We’d come back—no problemo 😁
