Our stay at this property was incredible. The view was even better than expected, and the home itself was beautiful, very clean, and perfect for three couples. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the pool, which was the ideal spot to unwind and take in the scenery. The outdoor shower was another favorite feature that made the stay feel extra special.Our host, Francisco, was outstanding—super friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. His insight made everything seamless. He arranged airport pickup, had our rental car delivered to the villa, and coordinated on‑site prepared breakfasts that were absolutely worth it. The breakfast staff were awesome—warm, welcoming, and the food was consistently delicious. Housekeeping also consistently over-delivered throughout our stay.The location was perfect—close to great dining options and beautiful beaches, yet still peaceful and private. We loved our trip to Costa Rica, and this home played a huge part in making it memorable. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a relaxing, well-run, and unforgettable getaway.

Our stay in Costa Rica was absolutely incredible! The house was stunning! The view was truly breathtaking and something we’ll never forget. The layout of the home was perfect for our family. It was incredibly convenient and comfortable, especially with kids. It made the space feel open, accessible, and easy for everyone to relax and enjoy.What truly made our experience exceptional, though, was Francisco, the concierge. He went above and beyond in every possible way. From booking all of our excursions to making sure every detail of our trip ran smoothly, he was absolutely amazing. When one of our kiddos got sick, he even offered to run to the pharmacy for us. That level of care and attentiveness meant so much to our family. He genuinely cared about making sure we were comfortable and taken care of.One of the highlights of our trip was a private river boat tour through Coco Tours that Francisco arranged for us. Our guide, Juan, was exceptional! Super funny, entertaining, and incredibly knowledgeable. He made the experience engaging for both the adults and the kids, and we learned so much while having an absolute blast. We took advantage of the breakfast option and it was outstanding! The food was fresh, delicious, and such a treat to wake up to. Everyone we interacted with was so kind and wonderful, which made the experience even more special.We can't recommend this home enough. This was a five-star experience! We would return in a heartbeat!

Our family loves to travel, and we have stayed in many villas and resorts. This house and location by far exceeded our expectations. The house is very comfortable and well appointed, and you absolutely cannot beat the view. The sunsets were spectacular. The location was centrally located so that we were able to explore different areas of the country and do a variety of activities. Francisco was beyond amazing and helped us with activities and invaluable information where to get groceries and areas to explore. Staying in a VRBO instead of a resort Francisco made all the difference! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this beautiful house. Definitely book this listing!

The photos of this property are lovely and true to its beauty, but experiencing it in person was unbelievable—absolutely breathtaking from every angle! There wasn’t a single inch of the home we didn’t love. Natural light filled every corner through panoramic windows, and the design captured stunning views of the mountains, the Pacific Ocean, lush tropical surroundings, and unforgettable sunsets. The infinity pool was too inviting not to enjoy daily.The house was also very well equipped with plenty of cookware, plates, and utensils, making it easy for us to prepare breakfasts and lunches. It’s also close to great local restaurants and beaches that were delicious and easy to access.During our stay, we celebrated our mom’s 80th birthday and arranged a private chef dinner. Francisco, the concierge and property manager, was absolutely wonderful—he shared several chef options and was always available and helpful. We chose Chef Aaron, who prepared an incredible four-course surf-and-turf meal, complete with a birthday cake. Chef Aaron and his team also did a great job cleaning up afterward, which we truly appreciated.Another big plus: this property is perfect for anyone who needs to get around with a walker. The layout made it comfortable and easy to navigate.This was a true memory-maker rental we will never forget. Our only regret was having to leave—10 stars if we could!

This property was gorgeous! Perfect place to celebrate a 50th birthday. Francisco was extremely attentive and communicative prior and during the stay. He sent us an abundance of information to plan our stay and handled all the logistics. I have been to Costa Rica before but the guides and equipment on our excursions were impeccable. Francisco had the villa well stocked with our pre-grocery delivery and checked in every day to see if we needed anything. No detail went unnoticed. The sunsets are gorgeous and the lizard who eyed us all week from the tree was an added benefit. We felt extremely safe and secure. Even though it was the rainy season, we had delightful weather, only experiencing a thunderstorm here or there but never hindering our itinerary- villa massages, chef dinner, ATV and Rio Perdido. I would highly recommend this villa and will be back again with more friends or family.

Perfect spot for family vacation

The Villa was excellent, but Francisco was even better. My wife, three children (11, 11 and 8 years old) and I had a wonderful stay! Francisco was extremely helpful and responsive during our stay and kept us updated throughout our stay. Highly recommend the property for a family get away. Even better than the pictures

Beautiful property, stunning sunset location. We spent most of our time in the outside dining/lounge/pool area which was bigger than it looks lin the pictures - and even nicer. The kitchen was well stocked, and lovely to work in (if you are so inclined). Francisco met us on arrival and checked in with us every day to ensure all was going well. He helped us organize tours in advance and accommodated a change of mind with grace, he was very responsive. The separate sleeping wing was a bit different, but didn't cause any problems for us. Abundance of towels, good linens. Everything was great.We would return in a heartbeat if we could make that happen.

Just Perfect

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this VRBO! The house is stunning, and the views are beyond breathtaking. Waking up every morning to the sight of the ocean and watching the sunset from the pool was a dream come true. The pool area is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful weather, and the home itself is spacious, well-maintained, and thoughtfully decorated. Everything was clean and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was also ideal—close enough to everything we wanted to do but still peaceful and private. Stunning Villa, Exceptional Service!

This villa is one of our favorite VRBO stays worldwide—it's even more stunning in person! The location was perfect, with beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. We felt safe in the community and loved the convenient access to beaches, rainforests, and waterfalls. Everything was impeccably clean and well-stocked, with high-quality furnishings. Our family of five (2 adults 3 teens) enjoyed the pool daily, especially the stunning sunset views over Coco Beach. The villa was spacious, with comfortable beds and plenty of room for family time or quiet moments.Francisco’s exceptional service made this trip unforgettable. He planned an 8-day itinerary over Xmas & New Year’s, including the Palo Verde River tour, Rio Celeste Waterfall hike, all day Marlin Rayado boat tour, Vandara ziplining & adventure day, and private couples massages. Our arrival included a private shuttle and rental car waiting at the villa, both arranged by Francisco.Nelli, the housekeeper and chef, prepared incredible breakfasts and snacks daily—her Costa Rican breakfast and breakfast burritos were standouts! Francisco also arranged dinner reservations at local spots like Ginger (amazing tapas) and Mar Azul (fresh seafood). Chef Veronica’s catering at the villa was another highlight (tuna tartare and seafood risotto).This was our first trip to Costa Rica, and it exceeded all expectations. Francisco and his team went above and beyond, making this one of our best VRBO experiences ever. We highly recommend!

WONDERFUL VIEW!!

The home was lovely and had a beautiful view. The only suggestion we have for the owner is, they need to place skid proof strips on bridge (very slippery when wet), and raise the short railing higher so someone would not fall over railing. The only problem was the small sugar ants and the red biting ants that plagued us the entire time. We had to keep all our food in the refrigerator. They need to get a exterminator to come often to eliminate this annoying problem. We bought our own bug spay which helped for a day, then they were back.

Best view in Playa del Coco

The pictures don’t do this house justice! We had the most wonderful stay here and really enjoyed the view and the pool. The house was very clean and very well stocked. It’s in a very nice neighborhood and we felt very comfortable and safe the entire stay. It was so great to wake up and enjoy a coffee by the pool watching the ocean. And the sunsets were just as amazing. It was rainy season, so we got enjoy a lot of evening thunderstorms as well. Francisco was so helpful and easy to work with and helped us set up tours and gave us many dining suggestions and ideas of where to explore for our first time here! The tour guides were so great also! We highly recommend the private chef options! We had some of the best food! And Mar Azul in town was divine as well. All in all, this house was perfect and we can’t wait to go back with our kids!!

We had a great stay - the house is exactly like the pictures - amazing view, clean and safe. Francisco - the host - was incredibly helpful and always available to help us with ideas around things to do, restaurants, etc. Centrally located high on a hill. The town below is OK but neighboring beaches and towns are great. We felt incredibly safe and really enjoyed our time there.

Million Dollar View and a lot more to go with it

Villa Serena is by far the best VRBO that we have ever rented. Everything was first class and the house is very well taken care of. Francisco and team (Vicky & Willfredo) were completely awesome. We got the breakfast every morning and the food was fantastic. A great way to start every day! We also had a Chef come in and prepare dinner a couple of the nights and both Chefs (Paulo & Johan) were fantastic. We didn't watch a lot of tv which was good because the internet doesnt work great on the sleeping side of the house. They probably need some type of mesh system to help with that, but really we didnt go there to watch tv. We all really enjoyed the stay and know that they will pamper you and make you feel like you are in a 5 star resort. There was six of us (3 married couples) and we all had a fantastic time. We saw a monkey the first night and a racoon a couple nights later. We named the big iguana that lives in the tree by the house El Chapo! Fun times and cant wait to go back.

Fabulous stay in beautiful house overlooking Playa Coco

We just returned from a wonderful family trip To Costa Rica. The house was beautiful and perfect for us. Francisco, our concierge took care of everything from booking restaurants, car rentals, excursions and groceries. Our housekeeper Vicky made the most delicious breakfast every morning. We felt like royalty We had a friendly lizard and monkey that came to visit. You definitely need a car to get around We had wonderful excursions. Especially Rio Perdito. Wonderful vacation and experience

I cannot recommend this property and team enough. Everything was perfect for a truly wonderful vacation. The house if beautiful. The outdoor space and kitchen are where we spend most of our times. The pools and the view are the highlight. It is so relaxing and peaceful. I also especially liked the location as it is a very short drive to both Coco and Hermosa. The neighborhood is new and felt very safe and the landscaping is beautiful. We even had howler monkeys in the tree one morning. Access to the beach club was an added bonus. The house has an interesting layout with the rooms in a separate part of the house, which made sleeping very quiet. The bedding and rooms are comfortable and there is even a living room with a TV that had access to live tv and sports. There were also no ocean views in two of the rooms. Otherwise, the house was perfect. What really set this rental apart was the service. Francisco and team are amazing!! Everything was so easy - it felt like a five star experience. Groceries and rental cars were set up prior to arrival and at the house waiting for us. Francisco greeted us and gave us all relevant information and an itinerary with great suggestions for what to do. The breakfast and housecleaning every day are well worth it and fantastic! We even had a band play at the house one night. Highly suggest this property and team. It was one of the best vacations we have ever had.

Amazing views and convenient location

This house was perfect for our family of 4! The views were amazing. We were close to all of our planned activities and lots of great restaurants that Francisco and his team recommended! Francisco was so helpful with scheduling our arrival with a great restaurant to stop for lunch as we were coming in from the airport. He was such a great resource of information. The air conditioning in the kitchen was not working when we arrived and Francisco had someone fix in very quickly. He made great recommendations with details on Beaches to visit and activities near us before our arrival. This was a great family vacation. Thank you to the Inspirato team.

Unbeatable views and gorgeous home in an ideal location!

Our family had a wonderful time at Villa Serena. We were blown away by the fantastic views immediately upon entering the Villa. The views over the infinity pool to the ocean below and the peaceful gardens were breathtaking. Sunsets were spectacular! We were greeted by Francisco who gave us a tour of the home and gave us comprehensive instructions regarding the home, which added to our enjoyment of the property. The home itself is impeccable, was located in a great neighborhood, is beautifully furnished and the beds were extremely comfortable. Internet service was great, although you will be too distracted by the views to want to work! The location was convenient to both Playas del Coco and Playa Hermosa. Also nearby was beautiful Playa Penca! We experienced great concierge service courtesy of Kelsey the property manager. We had a couple of in house breakfast meals, and a personal chef dinner which was wonderful, especially at Sunset. She also gave us great recommendations on local attractions, and arranged tours and activities. We even had access to the Pacifico beach club. The only negative was our vacation wasn’t long enough. We will definitely be back.
