Forget your worries in this serene home located in the sought after Southgate neighborhood just 5 miles to World Famous Siesta Key Beaches & Siesta Village. Close to cultural downtown Sarasota, Lido Key Beach, Marina Jacks, famous St. Armands Circle, a variety of restaurants and more!


Our home offers 1900 sq. ft. of living area and a SPLIT FLOOR PLAN with 3 Bedrooms & 3 full Baths, which provides lots of privacy and quiet nights for parents or families traveling together.
- Three bedrooms have a comfy Queen-size bed, dresser, full closet and night stand.
- The office has a designated work space!
- Family room has a comfy sofa and a 60” smart TV with a Fire TV Stick where you can stream YouTube TV and login to your favorite streaming services.
- Fully stocked and equipped kitchen with new appliances, a small bar seating area and breakfast area.
- Free Wifi internet.
- Inside laundry room with washer, dryer, vacuum cleaner, Swiffer, laundry soap, and more.
- Lounge area leads to the pool and patio and is a step down off the family room.
- Dining area includes a large table that's perfect for family gatherings.
- Large, fenced backyard with a heated swimming pool, lounge chairs, umbrella, Rattan patio set with a table/fire pit. Plus, a state of the art propane grill.
- Plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, toys, cooler and beach umbrella for a perfect day at the beach.
- Full private driveway

You will have access to the entire house, and you will be given a code to the keyless entry door lock on the day of your arrival.

There are 2 locked closets and a cabinet for our personal belongings as well as 2 cabinets in the kitchen.

Other things to note:
Please remember that you're staying in a private house that we love. Please treat the space with respect like you would treat your own home.

You must be 25+ years old to book. No third party bookings are accepted.

No Smoking inside the home or on the property

The house has a Blink camera doorbell and a smart front light that automatically goes on in the evening and off in the morning.

Our house is great for families, but is not childproof for families with small children. (the pool is not gated, power outlets are not covered, cabinets are not locked, there’s a step down into the main bedroom and also into the lounge).

A pool tech comes weekly to clean the pool of any fallen debris and ensures the chemistry of the pool is proper. However, we cannot prevent leaves and debris from falling into the pool just prior to your arrival or during your stay.

There’s an extra charge of $25 per day if you want the pool temp above 80 degrees.

Clean, comfy and close to everything

This home is a great choice for families or couples. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and dishes for both indoor and outdoor dining. Beds are queen size and comfortable. Located in a quiet neighborhood, the house is conveniently close to shopping, restaurants, a walking trail, and the beach. The backyard space is beautifully landscaped and offers plenty of privacy. While the outdoor dining furniture does not have cushions, it didn’t take away from our enjoyment of the space. There is only one TV in the house, but this didn’t impact our stay. Communication with the host was excellent, and the welcome packet was clear, detailed, and incredibly helpful. Overall, it was a fantastic stay—I’d happily return and recommend this home to others!

Family Time

WE enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house was in a perfect spot within minutes of everything we wanted to see. When not on the move we enjoyed just relaxing by the pool. All in all it was perfect for everything we needed and i would highly recommend it. We loved the area and can't wait to come back.

Super clean

We really enjoyed our stay! Lanie was fabulous to work with. The property was exceptionally clean. The bedrooms are a bit small but we didn’t mind given we were busy most of the time and the outdoor area is fabulous. We stayed during a heat advisory so the air conditioning struggled to keep up but the really nice ceiling fans helped tremendously! The beds were an average comfort level. We loved the cooler and beach chairs and toys she provided!

Wonderful Sarasota/siesta key vacation home

The house is beautifully decorated, kitchen well stocked with plenty of eating room. Amazing pool. 3 full sized bathrooms was such an added bonus in this house with two families with little kids. A great place to stay with multiple families. Nice, quiet neighborhood with driveway parking for 2 vehicles. Only 15 min from siesta key beach. Amazing hosts and a great house. We would definitely book here again.

The owner is so kind and communicative, the place is beautiful, clean and spacious. Kids loved the pool! Easy drive to beaches! I would say the futon is a bit uncomfortable but everything else was awesome!

Fantastic property!

My husband and I and our best friends loved staying at Lanie’s rental. The location was fantastic, the property was immaculate and was easy to find. We loved Sarasota and found many fantastic places to eat. Lanie was very quick to respond to any need or question we had.

The perfect stay for a family

We just came back from a 10 day visit, we are a big family with 5 kids all ages, the house was perfect, the pictures don’t do justice with it! Spacious, clean, renovated, great pool, amazing location (close to stores, restaurants and the beach). Lanie was great, everything we needed she took care of it straight away, communication was super fast and easy with her, always available for us and super nice. The house was equipped with everything we needed and beyond. The outdoor is beautiful and serine, great warm pool and great for BBQ in the evening. We are definitely coming back. Very Nice Home

We loved our stay at this home. You can tell the owner cares and takes very good care of the house. Everything was very clean. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The house is well stocked, and the location was great for us. Having the pool was a huge bonus. We used and enjoyed it daily. We would definitely stay here again.
