The Space:

Unwind in the large shared backyard, prepare meals in the fully equipped kitchen, and settle in for movie nights in the cozy living room. Every detail has been considered—from smart TVs and high-speed internet to curated local artwork that brings the Gulf Coast atmosphere indoors.



This home is one side of a duplex. Guests have the option to rent both sides for additional space and privacy. Whether you’re planning a short getaway or a longer stay, Key Lime Surf Shack delivers a laid-back, beachside experience in a fantastic location.

Guest Access:

The home is set up with a smart lock for your convenience & safety. We will provide you with a Personalized access code via your Boarding Pass a few days prior to arrival. Use your unique 4-digit code to enter the home. The code is active starting at 4pm on check in day and will automatically deactivate at 10am on check out day.

Just over the Stickney Point Bridge, you’ll find yourself on Siesta Key, home to Siesta Beach and Crescent Beach, both renowned for their powdery white sand and turquoise waters. The nearby Crescent Beach access (Point of Rocks area) offers a quieter, more relaxed alternative to the main beach and is particularly loved by snorkelers and locals seeking a peaceful stretch of coastline.



You’re also minutes from everyday essentials and local charm:

• Grocery stores, coffee shops, and casual dining spots line Stickney Point Road and South Tamiami Trail

• Phillippi Estate Park, just down the street, offers bayfront trails, a kayak launch, and a seasonal farmers market

• Driving: 10 minutes (4.5 miles via Midnight Pass Road)

• Cycling: 20–25 minutes

• Walking: 60+ minutes (not recommended on foot, but easily reachable by bike or rideshare)



Downtown Sarasota:

• Driving: 15 minutes

• Cycling: 35–40 minutes



Transportation Tips

• Biking is a great way to explore Siesta Key; rent bikes nearby for easy beach and village access without parking headaches

• Walking to Crescent Beach is very doable and scenic via Stickney Point Bridge—perfect for early risers or sunset strollers

• Rideshares (Uber/Lyft) are fast and cost-effective for beach days, dinners in the village, or downtown outings

• Beach trolleys and island shuttles operate on Siesta Key and make it easy to get around once you’re across the bridge"

Here are answers to some of our most commonly received questions!



🌴 Is the property pet-friendly? 🌴

We are ONLY dog friendly. To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all guests a non-refundable fee of $150 per reservation will be charged. Pet fees are NOT included in the original reservation price or nightly rate provided. Any applicable pet fees will be added to your reservation MANUALLY and charged AFTER booking. If you do not honor our pet policy and bring an unapproved pet, there is a $500 fine.



🌴 Is smoking allowed? 🌴

We have a strict NO SMOKING policy. If you smoke inside, there is a $250 fine plus the cost of remediation.



🌴 If I leave something it be sent back to me? 🌴

We are not responsible for items left behind by guests. If you leave an item behind and you want it to be sent back to you. We charge $50 for that item to be shipped plus the shipping costs.



🌴 What kind of coffee machine do you have? 🌴

We have a kurig in the home.



🌴 Can I book for less than 5 nights? 🌴

Unfortunately not, due to the amount of wear and tear on the homes from frequent turnovers we have a 5 night minimum across our portfolio.



🌴 What is the nearest beach? 🌴

The nearest beach is Crescent Beach which is 1 mile from the house.



🌴 What beach equipment do you provide? 🌴

We provide beach chairs for our guests. If there is additional equipment you need you would either need to bring it or rent it.



🌴 Is it possible to have a late check-out? 🌴

Unfortunately, we’re not able to accommodate a late checkout. Our cleaning team works on a scheduled timeline and has an agreed arrival time to prepare the property properly for the next guests. Thank you very much for your understanding
