Boasting a picturesque setting and located less than 10 km from the beach, within the South West Alentejo, this brand new guest house (fully renovated end of July 2022) features beautiful countryside living in an unspoilt area.

The space
Wake up to the sound of the sheep, the cows, the birds, watch the sunsets from the plunge pool area - create a relaxing and memorable family holiday.
This beautifully brand new (fully renovated July 2022) decorated 3-bedroom farmhouse offers our guests elegant, modern living and contemporary comfort. Decorated with contemporary furniture, the spacious rooms feel warm and timeless. There are 1 ensuite double bedroom, 1 children bedroom (1 bunk bed with 3 beds) and 1 double bedroom and 1 extra bathroom adjacent to the living room. All bedrooms are air conditioned. The thick walls keep the house cool in summer and the spacious covered veranda is perfect for al fresco dining. The covered extra outdoor dining room annexing the main house which is perfect for the breakfast or dinners. The private saltwater pool is surrounded by a wide terrace with stunning views across the fields leading to the Lagoa de Santo Andre. To everyone's delight, there is a charming lounging pergola near the saltwater pool. In the separate part of the garden there is a fabulous “Pirate Ship” with slide, swings, climbing wall for the pleasure of the little ones and a trampoline for children (which again for safety reasons, can be used only under close supervision by the parents).
Our Farmhouse is the perfect zen retreat for those looking for seclusion and taking the time to reconnect with nature whilst not being far from the restaurants and many attractions of this unspoiled area of the Alentejo. Hiking, beaches are all within a 10 min proximity. The Farmhouse undergoes continual improvements to increase comfort and improve your authentic experience.

Outdoor areas:
Private and fenced 1 hectare land plot with fully modernised Farmhouse. Private pergola garage for 2 cars (6m x 5m). Large “Pirate Ship” playground with swings, slide and climbing wall for the children. Terrace with dining table for 8 people and BBQ area. Lounge pergola with gorgeous views of the fields. Brand new large decking area for sunset cocktails. Outdoor fire pit in the beach area.

Remaining:
WIFI internet, Nespresso machine, dedicated ice machine, wireless speaker, iron with ironing board, lounge pergola by the saltwater pool and charcoal BBQ.

Extra information for families with children:
- In the children room with bunk bed there are some family board games and children's books.
- The entire estate with its large garden is fenced and secured.
- The saltwater pool (3m X 10m) does not have a fence, so please monitor children at all times and never let them go into or close to the pool unattended. We do not take any responsibility and liability. Please bring safety gear for small children.
- Please refrain from diving.

Guest access
Our guests will have access to everything they need!
It includes access to all the amenities of the Farmhouse including all furnishings and utensils.
Farmhouse “Casa AYO” is fully fenced and is restricted. The outdoor area has private parking, saltwater pool overlooking the fields leading to Lagoa Santo Andre, barbecue, firepit, unique “Pirate Ship” playground with trampoline for the children, sitting and dining areas.
You can enjoy the sun all day as well as several shadow & benches areas in the garden.
With the exception of the utility rooms and closets for cleaning and linen, guests have access to the entire farmhouse, pool and property. Kindly respect the environment; recycle when possible. Take special care with fires and grill. Please do not feed stray animals or leave food out. When accessing the pool, please note that it has a maximum depth of 160 cm. Children can only swim under the supervision of an adult and must not dive to avoid accidents.

We are passionate about travel and discovering places ourselves, thus we are excited to share this unique and magical place with you!
Upon request and subject to availability, we can assist in arranging private Yoga & Pilates classes and online Nutritionist sessions.
Please note: For check in/out that occur on a Sunday or Portuguese Holidays please account for an additional €50 for cleaning.
2 cars can be parked inside the property on the private driveway.
The farmhouse itself has been improved and can be kept at a relatively cool temperature if doors and windows are kept shut during the day.
The Farmhouse itself is serviced by a team of professional cleaners, and fresh linen and towels will be provided to you for the duration of your stay.
It is important to mention that Check-ins are between 15:00-20:00 and please understand that check-ins after 20:00 are subject to a €15 surcharge, and from 23:00 to a €30 surcharge, payable in cash upon arrival, in order to cover this special assistance.
