Welcome to Wine Country Haven, a splendid 3-bedroom retreat nestled in the heart of Santa Rosa, owned by passionate wine makers. While not on a vineyard, this cozy abode is designed to immerse you in the spirit of viticulture, offering a unique and charming getaway for wine enthusiasts and those seeking a taste of the good life. Indulge in the warmth and comfort of our wine-inspired home. This retreat is perfect for up to six guests, whether you're traveling with friends or family.

Fun Inside: A unique three bedroom/three bathroom floor plan (in essence three master bedrooms) makes this house ideal for large groups of friends or families to make the most of their wine country getaway. An excellent choice for a Thanksgiving feast, holiday dinner party or something in between. What you will like most is that when you settle in here you’ll feel at home.

Fun Outside: A well-manicured backyard with a dining table, lounge chairs and an awesome view start the outside fun. Enjoy your morning coffee or wrap up your day with a glass of wine out here. When you want to venture away from the house you’ll find yourself one mile away from the nearest winery with Kendall-Jackson, La Crema and Korbel being not much further. Beer lovers will find Russian River Brewing Co., Lagunitas, Bear Republic and HenHouse are all right here too.

When you first enter this home you’ll notice a complimentary bottle of wine from the host’s own winery, Hermosillo Family Wines. Their current vintage includes a rosĂ© (elegant & balanced) and a pinot noir (full-bodied & complex). Both are delicious and one will be handpicked for you. Enjoy!

The KITCHEN is built around a center island that serves as a dining counter as well. All you need to cook any meal or serve up delivery/take-out food is here. Modern appliances: a blender, toaster, coffee maker, double-door refrigerator with ice-maker and so much more. Tools of the culinary trade: pots, pans, platters, dishes and utensils.

A solid dining table fills the DINING ROOM. Four chairs flank this table along with seating for two at the counter, and interestingly a lower side table perfect for the kids to eat at (makes them feel grown up having their own table).

The LIVING ROOM has a leather sofa, matching loveseat and end chair (all of which are motorized recliners). Lean back to get a theater-like view of the wall-mounted TV or relax around the gas fireplace.

All three bedrooms have their own bathrooms, plenty of closet space and are dressed with high-quality linens.

BEDROOM #1 is downstairs and has a queen bed along with a dedicated work desk and chair. This bedroom is especially convenient for any guests with mobility issues as they will never need to go upstairs; and will not miss out on a minute of the fun around the kitchen and living room.

BEDROOM #2 and BEDROOM #3 are upstairs. One has a California-king bed and a huge lounge chair; the other has a queen-size sleigh bed.

The BACKYARD is furnished with a six-top glass table ideal for alfresco dining, or enjoying a bottle of wine beneath the strings of Edison-style light bulbs. Along with the table, two fluffy red lounge chairs and a decent-sized grass area provide views of a beautiful field along the back edge of the property, or to lean back and stare up at the stars.

A WASHER and DRYER are here for your convenience. The fastest Wi-Fi Comcast offers is installed here.

You’re provided with TWO PARKING SPACES in the driveway. Extra cars can park on the street in this safe neighborhood.

Your PETS are welcome. Please let us know if your furry friends will be accompanying you at the time of booking. A $200 per-stay charge is required.

The host was very welcoming in preparing the home for our arrival. Wine glasses were chilled and ready, the chocolate amazing. Communication easily flowed both ways.Family enjoyed the proximity of the property to wine country. The outdoor space was comfortable but limited. We would recommend this property to anyone seeking 3 separate bed/bath areas. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early to early flights out of San Fran. Comfortable spot for Sonoma County vacation

This home is in a good central location. Having a home base in Northwest Santa Rosa, minutes to 101 and Highway 12 made day trips easy everywhere we wanted to visit: the Pacific Coast and Bodega Bay, Armstrong Redwoods and the Russian River Valley, Healdsburg and points north, Sebastopol and West County, Santa Rosa’s parks, museums, historic downtown with shopping and restaurants, Sonoma Valley and beyond. Three bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom made traveling with a group of adults easier and more relaxing than it would have been sharing bathrooms or in a hotel. One bedroom was on the first floor, so perfect if someone in the group doesn’t want to do stairs. Sound didn’t travel much between rooms or from the common area, so it was easy to get a good night’s sleep. Plenty of linens and blankets in each room. The laundry on the second floor was very handy too.The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed, pantry basics like spices, coffee and filters, and quite a few things that could be useful for a longer stays if you’re cooking at home (waffle maker, rice cooker, ice machine, juicer, barware, multiple options for making coffee (drip brewer, keurig, pourover))The open kitchen, dining, living room on the first floor made it simple to gather for breakfast in the morning, and hang out after a full day. The outside space was small, but the view past the backyard fence to walking trails, open sky and the hills beyond was lovely and relaxing. The dining table

Property is a town-house (the right side in the photos) located in a fairly quiet neighborhood on the west side of Santa Rosa. Comfortable beds, linens and furniture. Nice view out the back patio. Kitchen was adequately supplied with pots, pans, utensils, etc. Great access to the west side of Sonoma county for cycling, wine tasting or just touring about, and also not too far from Hwy 101 for adventures further out.

Lovely weekend getaway

We really enjoyed our stay in this place. There is a walking trail to a park and elementary school so even though you are in a neighborhood, you still have a place to have a nice walk. The house was very well appointed with all amenities needed for cooking and cleaning up after. The bedrooms were all modern with comfy and new sheets. Plenty of hangers and lots of towels. The outside patio was nice for relaxing, having a meal and the weather was perfect. I’d recommend this property with no hesitations, it was most comfortable, quiet and well appointed. 15 mins to Healdsburg and lots of grocery stores, restaurants and shops nearby. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Easily accessible VRBO from the freeway made our stay in Santa Rosa perfect. We had appointments in Healdsburg, SR and SF so the location was centrally located, making it ideal for us. Clean and comfortable- we’d stay again!

Fantastic Value

Our visit to Napa Valley was greatly enhanced by choosing this property (Winemakers Delight). Comments... Property condition: Very clean. Nicely appointed, everything one could want/need in kitchen, bath, laundry, etc. Accurate representation: Property looked just like photos, completely met expectations. Bright and cheerful. Communication w Host: Excellent. Prompt, helpful responses. Very simple and smooth. Location: Safe and pleasant. Initially I was reluctant to stay "outside of Napa Valley" - but I'm so pleased we chose this option. Consider that: a) staying here was 1/2 the cost of staying in a comparable place one valley to the East (Napa Valley), b) the drive over to Napa Valley to visit Napa, Yountville, St. Helena, etc is only 35-45 minutes, and c) very importantly - many of the vineyards you'll probably want to visit (example: Francis Ford Coppola vineyard) are actually closer to Santa Rosa than if you stay in Napa Valley, itself. Summary: Do yourself a favor and book your stay at the Winemakers Delight. Great value for very comfortable accommodations.

Wonderful house in great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The checkin/checkout process was simple. The house is in a very nice neighborhood. The views out the back were peaceful.
