ACCOMMODATIONS: Modern elegance meets coastal casual at Gulf Coast Getaway. Step into this modern coastal cottage boasting an open, single-story floor plan with lake views in one of Santa Rosa Beach's most desirable neighborhoods. Stay in and whip up dinner in this fully stocked cook's dream kitchen featuring ample marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a breakfast bar. Enjoy your culinary creations then maybe grab the group for game night in the adjacent dining area that seats 6.

The Florida weather means you will be outdoors and the screened back deck overlooking the lake makes the ideal spot for cocktails or dining al fresco. When it is time to retreat for the night, choose between the primary bedroom with en-suite and king-size bed or the second bedroom fitted with a queen-size bed and adjoining bathroom. Both rooms have smart TVs and memory foam mattresses. Two queen pullout couches in the living room round out the sleeping options.

Additional conveniences include a full-sized washer/dryer, free WiFi, parking for two cars, and numerous preloaded television apps to elevate your stay.

COMMUNITY: Upscale Highland Parks sits on Scenic 30A in Santa Rosa Beach within a short walk to eateries such as Blue Mountain Beach Bakery, Blue Mountain Creamery, and Blue Mabel Smokehouse. A wide exercise path meanders along 30A. Head out to the adjacent forest preserve for scenic biking and hiking. When you're ready for the water, beach access is just 4 minutes away. The home is conveniently located near the stunning community pool (heated during cooler months), which offers a collection of covered and uncovered seating areas, an outdoor kitchen, outdoor TV, waterfalls into the pool, a hot tub, and a fire pit. The community pool area also has a four-story 360-degree observation tower from which you can enjoy dazzling views of the Gulf of Mexico and Blue Mountain Beach.

BEACH ACCESS: Gulf Coast Getaway and the Highland Parks Community are located approximately 1 mile from the Blue Mountain Regional Beach Access, with restrooms and parking. The Blue Lupine Beach Access is located 0.7 miles away.

DINING and SHOPPING: Gulf Coast Getaway is conveniently located near several area restaurants, including Mimmo's, The Vue on 30A, Pizza by the Sea, The Perfect Pig, Sunrise Coffee Co., Goatfeathers Seafood Market, Cafe Tango, Stinky's Fish Camp, Red Fish Taco, Local Catch Bar and Grill, Shunk Gulley, and Blue Mountain Beach Creamery. Check out Black Bear Bread Company (a local favorite) for house-baked bread and pastries.

PARKING: No vehicles including golf carts are allowed to park on landscaping, grassy areas, empty lots or sidewalks. There is no overflow parking available within the community and parking on the street is strictly prohibited. The neighborhood association employs the use of a Tire Tag system for vehicle booting. With this system, the non-compliant vehicle will have a Tire Tag device placed on the spoke of their vehicle. This device can only be removed by the offending vehicle owner logging onto a website, paying a $195 processing fee and getting the code to remove the device. Instructions for removal will be left with the tagged vehicles.

This property works well for 4 adults.. Nice screened in porch with privacy especially while the lot next to it is still vacant and full of trees. The back porch needs pressure washed due to mold. Washer needs to be replaced!!! The beds were very comfortable however, all the bed pillows need replaced due to wear and odor! Several cooking sheets need replaced. As previous property owners on 30A for 13 yrs we would have appreciated feedback from our guests.. Overall our stay was good and Sky Run property management was very good in accommodating our needs for linens and beach towels due to the absence of a reliable washer!!

Exceeded Expectations

Our bungalow was spacious, bright and cheery. Master beds were very comfortable. Location was great. Pool area was a surprise in term of pool size and design, accompanying large hot rectangular "tub" and covered eating and grilling area.What made the stay special was the personal effort by SkyRun to make sure they did everything possible to make our stay a great one. Case in point. Our cable was not working which meant no TV or internet. Keith form SkyRun spent 6 hours trying to get it fixed before our arrival. When unsuccessful, he made sure the cable company came out on the Monday after the Friday we arrived. The problem turned out to be a cut line by construction work in the neighborhood. WIthout Keith's persistence and effort we probably would not have had internet the whole visit. We also got financial reimbursement for the inconvenience. They were also readily available to address a couple minor concerns I had.This above and beyond effort speaks volumes to me about SkyRun. I will be renting with them again.

Beach hidaway

This cottage did not disappoint. The location was a perfect hidaway, yet so close to main attractions. The property waa clean, refreshing and perfect for relaxing on the screened porch. Our family will definitely be back.

Overpriced

House was dirty. Master bathroom was filthy. Floors and baseboards were nasty. Shower had mildew/mold and hair on the walls. There was food under the table and it had grim on it. It was over 90 when we first arrived like the air hadn't been on for a while, which took ALL to cool down. The floors in the kitchen were wavy like the floor joists or subfloor was worped.

Just Perfect

This is a beautiful up to date modern 2br2 bath house with a screened in back porch. Sweet neighborhood. Will definitely return to this location. Next to ice cream and coffee shop. It was great having a golf Cart rented for the week. Highly recommend as parking at beach and restaurants can be few and far between. The renting company especially Elizabeth was great to work with. Answered all questions timely and professional. Thank you.

This property was great! Very clean and easy to get to. Parking right out the front door. Only a short walk to the pool and short drive to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The host responded very quickly to my questions. We would definitely stay again!! Thank you!!

The property was exactly as described.

This home was perfect for our family of three (and it would have accommodated a few more), and it was even better than I imagined. It was very clean and well equipped. We loved eating our meals on the covered porch, and the pool area was very nice! We did have some issues with the cable/internet but their communication was excellent and we were able to get it resolved quickly. I would definitely recommend this property—we will be returning!
