La perle est situĂ©e sur le lac Oyster et offre une vue imprenable sur les deux cĂŽtĂ©s de l’immense lac de dunes, avec sa vie sauvage et la beautĂ© de ses couchers de soleil. De plus, nous sommes juste en face de l’accĂšs public de Dune Allen Beach avec l’eau limpide THE BEAU SUGAR SAND et l’EMERALD. Il est difficile de trouver une plage plus belle que celle-ci! Notre maison a Ă©tĂ© construite en 2005 et nous l'avons achetĂ©e en 2017 et REMODELED pour prĂ©senter un design rustique cĂŽtier. Nous voulons ĂȘtre l'espace le plus confortable et le plus beau que vous puissiez trouver pour passer votre prĂ©cieux temps de vacances. Nous avons une piscine communautaire pour se rafraĂźchir aprĂšs la journĂ©e Ă  la plage. Et une cuisine bien Ă©quipĂ©e si vous choisissez de cuisiner vous-mĂȘme plutĂŽt que de visiter les nombreux restaurants locaux Ă  proximitĂ©. Nous avons des lits en mousse Ă  mĂ©moire de forme et de beaux draps pour amĂ©liorer votre chambre confortable. Des serviettes moelleuses pour se baigner dans les bains Ă  remous. Nous avons de grandes tĂ©lĂ©visions Ă©quipĂ©es d'Internet dans chaque chambre. Le salon propose un cocktail GAME COUNSEL avec 60 jeux nostalgiques pour vous divertir, vous et votre famille. Family Fun!

Our stay at The Pearl was really nice. Our large family rented both sections. We were close to the private beach, we had no trouble finding space on the beach for our active group. The accommodations were great, there were plenty of towels and starter household products. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The absence of an oven was no problem. Our hosts were easy to contact and answered all our questions thoroughly.

Great week in a good location

We had a wonderful time at the Pearl! We would definitely stay here again! It was a short walk to the beach and close to many good restaurants, the unit had comfy beds with lots of space for our family. Thank you Rodney and Heidi!

Location is excellent and the beach is just across the street!

Clean, we had trouble with the microwave/convection oven and there is no regular oven in either unit which makes it hard to make certain foods ie: baked goods. We used our own slow cookers and took a electric griddle. Overall the location was awesome, near restaurants and stores and beach. Plenty of beach chairs too.

September Vacation

Overall we enjoyed our stay. There were some some small issues in the house the first couple of days but nothing that hampered our vacation. It was nice having the two separate units. The view of the lake from the upstairs unit was nice to wake up to. Both units were well equipped-from kitchen utensils to bedding to beach towels, nice beach chairs, and coolers. Really anything that you needed. The proximity to the beach was amazing. The only issue with the beach was figuring out where we were "allowed" to sit. It is not a very big area but we always had plenty of room since it was off season. The beach was beautiful. Our favorite restaurants were Blue Mabel for brunch and happy hour and The Donut Hole. We hope to come back soon.

Nice Stay

The location of the property is nice. The area itself is a small beach town, not a ton to do, but if you drive 20-30 minutes in either direction, there are more restaurants and things to do. Destin is about 30 minutes away so we were able to rent a boat and visit Crab Island and check the area out there. The beach is beautiful and the house is right across the street from the public access, however the area you are allowed to use is small since most of the homes on the beach own the beach fronts and you cannot trespass. There are guards on the beach that tell you where you are allowed to set up. Beds are comfortable, plenty of towels, a small shed full of beach chairs and floats to use. House could have been a tad bit cleaner but it’s a cleaning service that comes, so the owner probably doesn’t get a chance to review the cleanliness often. The microwave did not work in the upstairs unit, but we let the owner know and just used the microwave in the lower unit since our friends were staying there. Owner was quick to respond about the microwave, but had to contact Samsung for a repair. Overall it was a good stay.

Great Location

Our family loves this property. This is the third year we have stayed in the top and bottom floor. Both units have all you need for a comfortable stay. The pool is just outside the house. The beach is just across the street. There is plenty of parking for the units. The views of the lake from the property are serine in the morning and evening. This is our fourth year staying in the area. We stayed in a different house last year and the family insisted on going back to The Pearl. All you need to bring are your clothes. The units provides everything you need for the beach except sunscreen,

We loved our stay at your property. The property was exactly as described and it was very enjoyable. The units were very nice and we were thrilled with the condition and overall setup of the units. I also wanted to mention how much we appreciated the beach chairs in the storage unit. That was so helpful and convenient.

Nice Stay

The duplex was nice. The scenery and outdoor setting was great despite not having a beach view. Amenities were good overall and the location is convenient. Beach access was a short walk. The minor issues (minor in my opinion) I would point out are 1) there are no traditional ovens which is clearly stated on the listing and easy to overcome, 2) the unit is a duplex that does not connect (we rented both units and had to go outside to get from one to the other - this could be considered both a positive and negative depending on your group, and 3) the beach space was slightly awkward because certain areas right by the beach access were "reserved" due to property rights of certain homeowners. Signs were posted daily in certain sections. There was still plenty of space on the beach and if you were out early you could still get a choice location, but I saw people getting moved a few times.

Great house/location

We enjoyed our stay. This side of 30A is not as busy as other parts I have been to. Property owners were easy to keep in contact with. We had both the upstairs and downstairs for 6 adults and 6 kids. Thanks for stocked rags/towels and kitchen utensils.

We had a fantastic experience at this property. We rented both units, and had an extremely enjoyable time. Please know that there is no traditional oven at this property, there is a convection/microwave oven, so if you’re planning on cooking all of your meals there’s a learning curve. First world problems. We had an incredible stay

Clean great place to stay!

My only dislike was the beach access. I knew we weren’t on the beach so we took a wagon to haul our beach chairs, cooler, kids buckets and toys but there are 4 sets of stairs you have to go up and down it’s not just a ramp. We had a great stay!
