Welcome to paradise! This gorgeous updated beach cottage is within easy walking distance to the beach and just steps to the community pool. The charming "A Slice of Lime" is just what you have been looking for! Sleeping 8, this retreat has been thoughtfully designed with families in mind and is set-up to be the perfect home-away-from-home.

A covered patio greets you at the front of the home -- one of the many nooks this home boasts to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. As you walk through the front door, the calm neutrals with pops of Floridian charm will welcome you. The large comfy sectional is a great spot to relax with your family. The kitchen and dining area all share this open concept space. There is dining seating for 6 at the table and 2 spots at the kitchen peninsula. There's even an extra table at the front of the home that can be used as additional dining space or the perfect table for a game night!

The kitchen is bright and white and ready for the chef in your group. Whip up some amazing gourmet meals or simply dole out the family's takeout from any of the wonderful nearby restaurants. Pizza? Mexican? Italian? All within walking distance!

Head out to the backyard for an additional dining space, a covered seating area, a gas grill, and an outdoor shower for rinsing off the sand before heading in for the evening!

Beach Access:
1.) Head out the subdivision and cross 30A.
2.) Turn right onto the walking path -- take it down a few feet past The Palms to your beach access, labelled "Pelayo."

White picket fences adorn the well-kept lawns as you take a leisurely walk to this Seagrove Beach neighborhood pool. You will feel right at home in this cozy community of Gulf Mist beach cottages located directly across Scenic 30A from the beautiful beaches of South Walton. Make your way just down 30A to the beach access and you'll have your toes in the sand within minutes.

Seagrove Beach:
Named for the thick grove of oak trees lining its coastline, Seagrove Beach is located in the heart of 30A. The coastal villages of Seaside, Grayton, and WaterColor lie within a mile or two to the West, while Rosemary Beach, Alys Beach, and WaterSound lie a few miles East. There's no better spot to experience everything 30A has to offer!

Your stay at A Slice of Lime comes with Xplorie’s best activities! one ticket per day, per activity! (over $800 in nightly value) Tee off at Emerald Bay or Regatta Bay, zip through Baytowne Adventure Zone, and sail on the Sea Blaster Dolphin Cruise. An initial Benchmark signature box of amenities is provided for all guests. For the kitchen this includes: 1 roll of paper towels, 1 dish sponge, 1 dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, 1 pack of kitchen wipes and liners for each trashcan plus 2 washing machine pods. For each bathroom it includes: 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 set of facial and bath soaps/body wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. For towels you will receive: 1 body towel/1 washcloth per guest and 2 hand towels per bathroom.

The beds were comfortable and was was fully stocked in the kitchen. The home could use some TLC with cleaning and some maintenance. It needs some touch up paint in the bathrooms and baseboards, bleach in the bathrooms, and a dehumidifier would help with the smell. Overall, we had a nice time and it's a very spacious home.

Almost perfect stay!

Such a lovely, convenient home! The home is bright and clean and the location is unbeatable. The bedrooms are spaced out which was convenient because we were working during the days. The wifi and cell service was reliable. The only issue was that there were very limited basics available - we had to buy toilet paper because there was only enough for 2-3 days. This was pretty frustrating. We also had to buy paper towels, dishwasher detergent, and laundry detergent. The house is equipped for a couple days only. And there are no hair dryers either. The dishes were dirty but put away when we arrived so we immediately had to wash dishes. I feel like this is a management/cleaning issue. I would definitely recommend renting bikes and beach chairs. We used the company affiliated with the credit that you receive for booking the house. The bikes and umbrella came damaged and we had to switch them out, but the rental company was responsive. The location was great - 10 minute bike into seaside and a quick drive to Grayson and Rosemary. Would stay here again if a few more basic amenities were provided!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house as a last minute and short get-away and it was just what we needed! The house was in a perfect location. We had bikes delivered and walked/biked everywhere we wanted to go. The beach access is perfect! The house was just what we were looking for--comfy and roomy place to sleep; cook a few times; and relax. The couch in the living room was perfect for this!!! The only problems we had were with the management company. When we arrived, it took over 45 minutes and three different individuals at the answering service to get the code for the door. We later found out the management company was out of office for the holiday party. The answering service had three different answers--some of which was flat out incorrect information. The code was supposed to be sent in our welcoming email, but not code was given--so when you go, just make sure you have this information before you get there!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Slice of Lime is an older home on a family friendly quiet cul-de-sac. The house is a cozy ranch style beach home, very clean but somewhat dated. The kitchen is stocked with ample dishes, glassware, pots and pans. The bedrooms are large and spacious. The mattresses appear to be older, two of three are topped with medium thickness foam pieces. Two of the rooms have double size beds, not queens. Several of the window blinds do not function properly - there are two very bright street lights located directly outside the front bedroom window and master bedroom window that shine directly in, limiting night time darkness. The bottom part of the trundle bed does not work, the porch has limited privacy due to the malfunctioning blinds and glass door entrance. The beach public access is very conveniently located, just a short few minute walk to the Pelayo Access (note, no ramp at this access, just stairs). House is located 3.5 miles from the Hub, close proximity to other restaurants and donut shops. The back yard offers a grill but limited space to enjoy the outdoors. Easy communication from Benchmark. It appears this house has recently been purchased by new owners, we hope the new owners update accordingly as it is so conveniently located and has great potential.
