Pinkie Flamingo was out and about on a simply sunny morning in Northwest Florida. She usually liked to listen to the radio as she made her way along 30A…and sing along. “Off we go into the wild blue yonder…”Flamingos are not known for carrying a tune but that did not stop Pinkie. The weather was perfect as it usually was here on Florida's scenic coastal highway. “Makin' My Way Along 30A” Pinkie sang along to the popular song. She loved the Blue Mountain beach area and Highland Parks was a very popular neighborhood. The amenities were over-the-top featuring a resort-style pool with waterfall, hot tub, gazebo, fire pit, snack bar, and observation tower. She was on her way to “Wild Blue Yonder” and the thought alone was very appealing! As she wound her way through the curvy streets she marveled...”I thought all of Florida was flat”. The gentle hills of the neighborhood were a pleasant change of scenery. Rounding the curve, she found what she was looking for...her next guest nest!

Pinkie was pleased to find a powder room and one guest bedroom on level one. Upstairs she found the master with king bed, another guest bedroom with Queen bed and a bunk room. “Any family of 10 will be quite comfortable here!”

The Highland Parks Community is conveniently located between Redfish Village and Gulf Place Town Center on Hwy 30A. Surrounded by great local eateries like Mimmo's on 30A, Shunk Gulley, Local Catch, and Cowgirl Kitchen, the location is guest-friendly and welcoming. Adjacent to Forest Preserve for biking and hiking, easy access to the beaches and just 15 min to Destin.
