Summary:
Welcome to Sunshine On My Shoulders located in Redfish Village!
Redfish Village is a great place to enjoy the world famous 30A beach scene and local charm. Centrally located right on 30A with restaurants like Redfish Taco, Blue Mable, Cowgirl Kitchen, and ice cream parlors like Blue Mountain Creamery. You will also find shops and private beach access all within walking distance. Redfish Village has all the amenities one may want to take a relaxing vacation and enjoy some time at the beach.

The Space:
Sunshine On My Shoulders offers classic coastal decor in a well appointed 2 Bedroom (plus bunks) 2.5 Bath condo with open living space combining relaxation, entertainment and dining all rolled into one. Our guests will love the living room as it opens onto a large balcony furnished with a loveseat and two chairs for relaxing over a morning cup of coffee or a late-night drink. Prepare the perfect vacation meal in the fully furnished kitchen totally equipped with all the cookware and dinnerware you need. The master suite is welcoming with a king size bed, two chairs, a full master bath and a walk in closet. Our guests are sure to enjoy the second bedroom furnished with two queen size beds, two chairs and a master suite style bathroom with dual sinks, a full sized bathtub as well as a walk-in shower and a walk-in closet. A cute set of bunk beds in the hallway with easy access to a separate half bath provides sleep space for 2 more. The unit is also equipped with a washer and dryer for added convenience as well as one covered parking space dedicated to your use during your stay. There is also parking for other cars in our large parking area all around our beautiful village.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Guest Access:
Private Beach Access - A private gateway and vista to the pristine emerald green water and sugar sand beach is easily accessible via a short stroll, bike or ride on our open air shuttle. You will certainly love the convenience of our beachside private men’s & women’s restrooms as well as the outside showers to wash off or rinse sand off your feet. Redfish Village is the only condo on 30A that has individualized restrooms, showers, and dedicated private beach access. Chair and umbrella services are also available during season.

Beach Shuttle - Our beach shuttle operates daily on-demand during season. Rather than schedule your vacation around a ride our private shuttle will drive you to and from the beach, as needed. When you see it you can just climb aboard or call a few minutes ahead and it can either take you to the beach or pick you up.

Pool & Poolside Amenities – There are two beautiful resort style heated pools, with ample deck space, lounge chairs, tables and umbrellas for sunbathing, relaxation, and gathering. Positioned conveniently next to the pools, children can enjoy a dedicated play area with a gorgeous large yard, swing set, seesaw, and covered play-set with slide. And for the adults you will find two commercial natural gas Viking Grills with Infrared Burners. These top of the line grills are conveniently located off the pool deck for easy access and are there for your enjoyment. Whether cooking up a steak dinner or enjoying some fresh shrimp or fish from the Gulf of Mexico – these grills will make your mouth water. You and your family will also enjoy an elevated boardwalk that connects the pool deck to Redfish Lake and the overlook area.

Gym – An intimate exercise room available for our guests. Utilize the treadmill, elliptical trainer, recumbent bike, or weight machine.
The Library – A peaceful room for reading, relaxing, and getting online. The Library contains hundreds of volumes including New York Times Bestsellers, local interest and children’s selections.

Community Room – A comfortable indoor gathering area with well spaced seating areas, a private terrace and wet bar.
Theatre – A media room with a large TV, surround sound, iPad docking, DVD, hi-fi system, and soft seating. The cable system and major sporting events will be available for viewing.

Big Redfish Lake and Preserve Area – On the East side of the Redfish Village property, is a protected coastal dune lake with an abundance of natural habitat. Enjoy a drink or meal down on the lake or feel free to fish off of the private dock. Enjoy the unique opportunity to experience small gatherings, fishing, and events overlooking a rare coastal dune lake. In addition to Big Redfish Lake on the North and East side of our property you will certainly enjoy walking a protected ecological area with walking paths and a series of preserved growth areas and protected vistas.

Stay at Redfish

Property was really nice. Rooms were spacious and updated. The room was fully cleaned prior to check in. Check in and check out procedures were super easy and it took a lot of stress away after an 8 hour drive. The only issue we had was the TV in the Master did not work.

Several issues with property

The television in the den did not work most of our visit. They replaced it before we left. The stove made beeping noises until we figured it out. The rug in the den and other furnishings were not in good shape. We were interrupted during our stay by a plumber looking for a leak. The property managers were very responsive to the issues but there were simply too many issues with this property. The complex itself is great and we will stay there again but not at this particular property.

Amazing getaway

Our stay at this property was absolutely amazing. Well appointed, clean, and a very short walk from the beach which was a must for us. The condo is laid out very well, maximizing space and function. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay!!

Perfect Little Getaway

Great condo - very family friendly. Location/shuttle to the beach was great. We loved the pool & playground. Condo was clean. We loved sitting on the porch listening to music but by late evening the property was quiet with no nighttime disturbances. (Which we appreciated!) We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Family Spring Break!

I couldn't speak higher of this property and its owners. From the very beginning throughout our entire stay and exit, these owners were so attentive to everything we needed. We knew we loved this area and location from previous stays, but this was our first time at this property! We had one minor hiccup with the AC unit, but the owners were on it immediately and kept us informed each step of the way. Plus, it was cool outside, so we opened the doors and thought nothing of it! The rooms are so much bigger than the pictures show, which was such a surprise! Everything was so clean and as-shown in the pictures and as-described in the listing. My sons, 4 & 8, LOVED the bunk beds in the hall and treated them as their own little unwind hideaway coming off a day at the beach. Speaking of the beach-- you can't get a better accommodation than this in most of 30A! If you have a lot of stuff with you, or want to finish the drink your hand, you call and a private shuttle comes to pick you up and drop you off at the private beach entrance. Ready to come back and don't feel like walking (which is just one block), the shuttle will take you back at your convenience. Top notch service, if you ask me :) The pools are also incredible, with the most spacious playground by the grill area. If you have kiddos, you'll want to stay here for that alone! It was cool a night, so it was great to open the balcony and listen to some live music at Red Fish Taco (plays until 9pm sharp), or even just walk down there for some food and come back up and play board games with the family. As for the rooms, they were perfect. The master is right off the front door, near the washer and dryer, which was super helpful to help make my boys feel safer with us close by. The closet was HUGE! The guest room was MASSIVE and just perfect if you have 4 others traveling with you. It is off the second balcony entrance, which was nice for her to go out and read if we had to put our kiddos down. My mom enjoyed this suite, getting some kid-free time :) If you're looking for top-notch communication, with a luxury stay in the heart of Blue Mountain Beach, look no further. We'll definitely be coming back :)
