Luxurious Garden Casita in Downtown SB
Garden Casita is located within the historic El Pueblo Viejo District in Santa Barbara on a private lane with a rich past and impeccable style. With an ideal downtown location, this recently remodeled classic adobe maintains its original character and is a starting point of pure joy for exploring this world-class coastal town.
This immaculate 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home resides in an enclave of nine homes, each with similar character and Spanish Revival architecture, on a genuinely charming street. Park the car and explore on foot to truly experience living like a local. A significant feature is the offering of two suites, each one a unique and private sanctuary.
Constructed in the 1940s, the recently renovated adobe's historic essence is preserved beautifully; each design decision was made with utmost care to preserve its historical significance but with today's sensibilities. Hand-crafted doors, colorful tile accents, natural textiles, and wrought iron are the foundation of the thoughtful decor. With modern amenities and luxury appointments, guests will feel pampered and cradled in comfort.
The entry courtyard hidden behind beautiful wooden doors is a welcoming gift; this enclosed terrace is truly an extension of the home and a restful living space. Tuck into the large, built-in sectional with a great cup of freshly brewed coffee and a local magazine to plan the day's adventure. Dine al fresco at the farm table on this covered terrace year-round; service between the guests and the chef in the kitchen is made even more convenient with a pass-through window.
A stylish great room with a fireplace, Frame TV, comfy sofa, and dining area anchors the main living space. The fully outfitted kitchen is a show-stopping culinary hub with fine cookware, cutlery, and glassware; professional-style appliances, including a 5-burner cooktop and a breakfast bar, complete the look.
Through custom-crafted doors is the primary suite with a king-size bed, a second television, and a well-organized walk-in dressing room.
