This three-bedroom, two-bathroom home, a highlight of Paradise Retreats' collection, features large bay windows in the Living Room to keep your focus on that mesmerizing ocean view, complemented by a central stone fireplace. The Primary Suite boasts a walk-in closet and an ensuite bathroom with a vintage step-down jacuzzi tub. The private backyard is complete with a hot tub, lounge chairs, and a lush tropical garden. The front patio is the perfect location to watch the July 4th fireworks, sailboat regatta, and breathtaking sunsets over the Channel Islands from the comfort of your own space!

The view from the living room and front deck was amazing. The back deck is private and lovely. The location couldn't be better and is convenient for everywhere we wanted to walk/drive. The place could use a bit of sprucing up, but the view and location compensate for the somewhat dated decor.

Wonderful location across the street from Shoreline Park with views of the Santa Barbara Channel and Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary. The park is lovely, very walkable, with spectacular views of the ocean. The home was very comfortable with a nice kitchen and laundry. It's not a new home, so a bit dated but with a very comfortable living room area and a cool, beachy vibe. Very very satisfied with our stay here. Highly recommended.

The views from the living room window of this lovely home are fantastic! The Shoreline Park always had an activity going on that we loved watching! Everything from the mobile library with lots of small children and dogs to a tai chi class! Loved this location

Great Stay, Perfect Location

I have spent a lot of time in Santa Barbara over the years and have always wanted to stay in this neighborhood. Thew location could not be more convenient to downtown, the harbor, beaches, etc. The front patio is great for an afternoon glass of wine and the house has everything you need. All around a great house.

Perfect location

Perfect location for a walk to the beach, to watch the sunrise AND sunset. We used the deck to drink our morning coffee, eat lunch and afternoon snacks. So many wonderful restaurants within a short drive.

Mixed bag

Clean property but as other reviewers have mentioned, quite dated property. Washer and dryer have seen better days but are serviceable. When using microwave or dryer, all lights in use in house dim. It is on a very busy street where traffic goes all day long, but quiet at night. Across from pretty public park but very, very busy park with runners, walkers, barking dogs and every afternoon we were there for a week, a big soccer setup for kids games. Saturday was an in-park kid's birthday party that went on for 5 hours. Popular park spot because right next to restrooms and parking lot. Property management was responsive when we called to get hot tub heating times adjusted for our use and also when we emailed upon checkout a few issues such as a leaking faucet and ants in kitchen and master bath. Lots of newish Wayfair furniture doesn't really add up to the price point of this rental.

Awesome place - we will definitely rent again!

This was a perfect place to stay for our 3 day trip to Santa Barbara. Only negative to us was that the sun didn't come out much but that's Santa Barbara in the summer. We absolutely loved walking along the beach right across from the house. Walked down to Shoreline Cafe each day for breakfast or lunch. Overall perfect - just wish we had stayed all week. Thank you so much!

Funky retro home

Enjoyed this place. It’s dated but clean and was perfect for our mixed family of teens and adults. Great for morning walks and close enough to town if you like walking. Teens not so much. Hot tub was a hit. Loved the deck views & back yard vibe Would be perfect if there were bikes, corn hole and the June gloom didn’t exist.

Beautiful, but obviously absentee owner

Great location, very unique house-looks like it was very stylish in its day. Very clean and well stocked, but it was obvious that the owner rarely visits. There aren’t any lamps in the living room that could be used for reading-one had a terribly dim bulb and the other was non-functional. Light switches in the house need to be labeled-we never did find out how to turn off one of the kitchen lights. I gave it 5 stars because of location and overall quality of stay, but, if I could nitpick for a minute, short term rentals seem to be less about a nice functional place to stay, and more about what looks good on instagram.

Bungalow with beautiful views

A great classic California bungalow. The house was pristine, one of the cleanest VRBO's we have experienced. Location is perfect across from the park with access to the ocean 5 minutes away at 1000 steps beach. Beautiful views of the ocean and the mountains in the distance.
