La Fenice Yacht is a 95-foot classic motor yacht by the renowned naval architect Laurent Giles, built in 1962 as the official British mothership for the America's Cup in Newport, Rhode Island. She later served with the French Navy and was owned by the celebrated fashion photographer Peter Lindbergh. Her interiors were redesigned by Christian Liaigre — one of France's most acclaimed designers — in rich dark woods, leather, and understated elegance that feels closer to a luxury boutique hotel than anything you'd expect to find afloat.

La Fenice Yacht is berthed in Sant Carles de la Ràpita, a charming fishing town on the southern Catalan coast at the gateway to the Ebro Delta Natural Park — one of Europe's most important protected wetlands and a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. This is not the tourist trail of Barcelona or the busy marina scene of the Costa Brava. It is wild flamingo colonies, vast rice paddies, pristine Mediterranean beaches, and some of the finest seafood in Spain — landed fresh each day and served in the restaurants just steps from the marina.

La Fenice Yacht offers luxury crewed yacht accommodation for up to 9 guests across four private staterooms — three doubles and one twin — each with its own ensuite shower room and hair dryer. She is fully climate-controlled with air conditioning and heating, ensuring a comfortable stay in every season. All bed linen and towels are provided.

A freshly prepared breakfast is included each morning, made for you by the crew, who remain on board throughout your stay for your safety and comfort — happy to recommend the best local restaurants, help with bookings, and arrange activities. As with any B&B, other meals are not part of the booking, and the galley is a crew area rather than a guest kitchen. With outstanding seafood restaurants, local tapas bars, and the famous Ebro Delta shellfish — mussels and oysters grown in the sheltered waters of Alfacs Bay — dining out is very much part of the experience. For guests who would prefer to eat on board, we can arrange anything from a private chef to additional catering — just tell us what you have in mind.

You will be greeted on arrival with a Cava and nibbles reception hosted by the crew — a relaxed welcome to the yacht alongside a short safety briefing. Guests staying more than one night enjoy a complimentary Cava reception each evening to set the tone for the night ahead.

Your booking includes the overnight yacht stay aboard La Fenice with dedicated crew, breakfast, welcome and evening Cava receptions, and all linen and towels. La Fenice Yacht is berthed in a working marina and we maintain a strict guest code of conduct that every guest must agree to before their booking is confirmed. It covers noise, behaviour, and respect for the vessel, crew, and marina community. It is non-negotiable and our crew are empowered to enforce it. We will share the code of conduct with you in full before you commit, so there are no surprises — we simply ask that you read it carefully and understand that it applies for the duration of your stay. A refundable damage deposit is also required.
