Sandcastle Home on Sanibel Island in The Dunes Golf Club

Sandcastle Home on Sanibel Island, Florida is a beautiful vacation home located in The Dunes neighborhood. The Dunes is a great spot with one of the best 18 hole golf courses around. Our home has everything you may need for a month or longer stay on the Island including an office with desk and high speed wireless internet. It's a great floor plan with a spacious master suite with en-suite bathroom and two additional bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The first guest bedroom has another king sized bed with the other bedroom having two twin beds. There's a full kitchen with everything you'll need to prepare meals for your family and friends as well as a dining area and living room with very comfortable furniture. Downstairs we have an entertaining area off the pool that leads to the expansive pool area and hot tub. Our pool is heated to 86 degrees during the winter months with the hot tub at 102. Lounge on the pool side or the wrap around deck on the home. We have a large screened in area over the pool and decks to keep the bugs away as well. The Dunes is a short drive to beach parking and we include beach equipment for you. We'll look forward to welcoming you to Sanibel Island for your next month or longer stay.

Great Vacation

Dream Vacation Rentals was easy to work with when we faced issues. They were responsive via text. The home is very spacious. The kitchen was fairly equipped, but please bring your own dish rags. The rental agency does supply sets of towels, hand towels, wash clothes and ones to step out on from the shower. The water in the master bedroom off of the living has to warm up in the shower for a few minutes. The hot is to the right. The bedroom also has a door with slats on it, so privacy is limited. If anyone is in the living room/kitchen area, you’ll hear them easily and vice versa. The washer and dryer were very nice to have and utilize. There are puzzles, games and dvds in the room with the pull-out bed in the sofa. It was such a cute set up and workspace. There were two bikes at the house but only one was working, as the other had a flat tire. One helmet was provided for anyone under the age requirement. There were only two small beach chairs (sit low to the ground) and an umbrella. The binder provided in the house on the tv stand has some of the same information as the website provided by the agency for welcoming. However, the book does not have the correct address for the property, and the beach access it provides is not correct either. The rental agency did help with sorting this out, but you park in a roped off area where it says you can be fined or towed for not having a decal. A decal is not provided. We did park in the roped off location after paying for parking before finding the binder to help guide us. We did not have issues, and the beach location was very nice! Be aware of the electric in the home. The lights would flicker, as well as the power shutting off and coming back on. It did not happen consistently but at random times. The internet would work fairly well during the day, but, at night/evening, be prepared to be kicked off or unable to utilize the tv due to it losing connectivity. Despite any of the small obstacles we had over the vacation, it was such a great time and location. The neighborhood is very peaceful and located near shops, etc. that you can easily ride your bike there. The rental agency is more than willing to address issues and are very responsive. We would undoubtedly rent this house again.
