All is as advertised
We recently stayed at the treehouse when my niece was performing at the Interlakes Summer Theater in Meredith. We were only there for a long weekend, but we were very happy with our stay and can recommend it without reservation if youâre looking to stay in the area.TLDR version:The treehouse is a very unique property and the listing describes it accurately. Iâve seen other reviewers that said the photos donât do it justice. I wouldnât go that far, but they definitely donât oversell it (as so many listings do). Everything was very clean and very functional, and the space was both open and cozy at the same time. My wife loved sitting on the day bed in the windowed nook and could have spent a week there. The pictures show the bed in the loft as twins, but we had it pushed together as a king, and it worked perfectly and was very comfortable.The area is very quiet and peaceful; the only price for that quiet is that youâre about a 20-25 minute drive from pretty much anything. So if youâre looking to be in the heart of everything, there may be better options. The only caution I would share is the shower. The listing does note that it is small, but that really canât be overstated. Think RV sized shower. Iâm 5â8â and 165lbs and it was a tight fit even for me. The tub is very small, and the shower curtain constrains that space even further. We were able to make it work, but just be advised, itâs more functional than luxuriant.We would def stay here again.
