Welcome to our California Time Capsule!
Lucy & The Sky is a legendary 24 ft Airstream trailer built in 1966.
She is located on a large plot of land on the side of hill looking over hills and valleys.
20 min to best beaches, 20 min to wineries of Temecula and 40 min to famous Potato Chip Rock hike, you can experience most of San Diego from here! Less then 20 min to the moon with our telescope on the grounds!

Panoramically positioned, our place is great for a romantic couples or artsy solo traveler or anyone who would like a refuge from the rustle and bustle of urban life.
It is magical here!

Located on a carved out plain atop a hill you'll be surrounded by the peaceful Tuscany-like views with distant wineries and mountains. You will have almost an acre of land at your disposal with no houses obstructing enchanting views.

It took us a year to rebuild/remodel that piece of American history with leaving all original interior. You will have your own Bathhouse with antique claw-foot bath with plenty of hot water. Airstream has independent air conditioning and heater . We provide organic shampoo/conditioner to support nearby nature. You will have access to firewood. During dry times , please, ask us about outdoor fire regulations in the area, we have to respect local laws.

The Interior:
Inside the Airstream you shall find one queen size bed and one twin size bed that can be converted into a couch manually at your convenience. The kitchen stretches along the wall featuring Breville AirFryer/Toaster/Oven, refrigerator, double sink, and counter space. At the far end of the trailer is a hot/cold shower and little sink.

The Exterior:
Featuring a covered pergola, deck, lounge chairs, Mexican cast iron chimenea, Weber BBQ grill with side burner, private bath house (including full size antique claw bathtub a sink & toilet) wooden swing set and more... all surrounded by open space, fresh air and rolling mountains.

Details:
Most guests prefer to use the bath house outside for this reason please bring a robe or other clothes in which you can easily go to and from the Airstream and the bath house/toilet located just 15 feet behind it.

- Parking can accommodate 4 cars easily.

Overall excellent experience. The host is very gracious. Within quick reach to the city and at the same time in the Airstream trailer it gives you a secluded private feel. Good place to reset.

The Airstream is in great condition & very clean, the bed is a little small for two but cozy & comfortable to sleep in! The setting is peaceful & we enjoyed taking in the views while we cooked dinner & sat by the fire. The bath house is so nice & cute, makes it more of a “glamping” experience. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful night away- especially if you appreciate old Airstream trailers!

The best thing was the property, the peace, and the view! The trailer is in great shape and the bathhouse is perfect. Just wish the bed (mattress cover) was a little better, but otherwise, my wife and I had a great stay!

This vintage trailer was just perfect! Lovely setting and the patio area was a wonderful place to just sit and enjoy the scenery. Usually, a concern about trailers is the bathroom situation, but this one had a well-equipped bath house adjacent to the trailer. Felt like being in a spa. The owner and manager were so friendly and responsive to our questions. We definitely plan to stay here again.

Incredibly intact pristine vintage airstream. I love this property and the location is fantastic. You feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere but 10 minutes from shops and restaurants and about 20 minutes from the beach. Highly recommend!

This was my 1st Airstream experience! I found it to be charming & very peaceful. This is a perfect 1-2 night stay. A/C is COLD & blankets COZY. The only downside were tiny frogs in the outdoor bathroom & ants inside the airstream. Other than that, the place is great!

a romantic weekend getaway

this spot was the perfect home away from home experience. Located in a quiet and more elevated area in San Marcos, it felt like we were isolated from the rest of North county. The bathroom tub, the outdoor furnace, and the sounds of the nature’s creatures at night were highlights of our overnight stay. Thank you for sharing a piece of a history with this comfy and homey airstream for the night !

Hit the spot

Weather was perfect, the air smelled like milk and honey, the location quiet and peaceful all day and night. Hosts answered all questions quickly and were friendly. The Airstream was jest what we needed for our stay. Easy access to toen but felt like we were on a tropical island. The bathhouse was amazing and never ran out of hot water. All in all I would recommend this place to anyone and hope to return again soon.
