VERY NICE ROOFTOP

We have been very happy when discovering the rooftop! It is really a nice place to spend a few days. The town is ok, the appartment is fine and the size of the rooftop is VERY nice! The barbecue was a super surprise!

First of all, the host Rosemarie was so helpful going the extra mile when we had questions or requests. Second, the apartment is pretty, comfortable, easy walking distance to Old San Juan and Embarcon Beach. We found everything we needed here and could truly relax and also easily do the things we wanted to. The roof deck is great. A wonderful stay.

This is an amazing place to stay! It’s close enough to Old SnJuan that you can walk or just get a scooter and be there in minutes. It’s easy to get to with uber unlike downtown old a Juan. Close to the beach and there are several delicious restaurants on the same street and a fantastic hamburger shop a few blocks up. Gas station and grocery close by. Can’t say enough good things about the views and the owners!! You will not find better views in all of San Juan! The owners are so nice and accommodating! Can’t wait to return!!

The apartment was clean and well stocked. As stated in the listing, it’s up several flights of stairs and there is not an elevator. This was fine for our family, as we didn’t have any trouble climbing the stairs. It’s worth it to get the entire roof top! The apartment was a little small for our family of 4 (2 adult children) but having access to the roof top which is right off the living room helps provide enough space to spread out. The location is walkable to restaurants and is a short cab ride to Old San Juan. We walked home one night, so that is also a possibility. There are also a lot of scooters in the area, so you can walk or ride them over to Condado Beach. Rosie was very responsive and even brought us some cookies from a local bakery. We would stay again and we would recommend.

Wonderful stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay. The location and apartment were accurate to the description- really cool to have your own private terrace and view! The location was great- about a 20 minute walk to old San Juan, and a short uber drive to the airport. Everything was clean and communication was excellent. Would highly recommend!

Rosemarie place felt like home safe clean and a rooftop that is relaxing. She's a gem and very welcoming and easily accessible. The apartment is fully stocked with the essentials and they area is easily accessible to Old San Juan.

We really enjoyed this Penthouse Apartment. The Rooftop desk is Amazing, it's definitely worth the 4 flights to get to! The beds were quite comfortable and the amenities were many. Rosemarie the Host is Awesome! When the electricity went out on the block at 4 in the morning she delivered coffee and pastries to us knowing that we would not be able to use the appliances! The neighborhood has been though some hard times, but we never felt unsafe! We walked pretty much everywhere we went. The day we went to the fort "El Morro" we took an Uber because it's a bit further away. After we walked around Old San Juan, then took a taxi back to the Apartment ($15 flat rate). We didn't walk at night, just hangout on the Rooftop Terrace or watched a movie in the apartment. I would suggest taking an Uber if going out at night. All in all we truly enjoyed our stay and will rent again if we return to San Juan!

Second Time: Consistently Excellent

We first stayed here in 2022 and were very happy with the apartment and the neighborhood. Three years later we returned and once again were super impressed with the cleanliness and noticed the host had even made some upgrades. We love the neighborhood because it’s close to everything but is not flooded with tourists. Rosemarie goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and is responsive.

Girls trip

Everything about our stay was perfect. We just werent prepared for how tight the street was but we just closed the mirrors in and everything was fine. There are a lot of stairs up to the 3th floor apartment but I liked the extra security with the locks, etc. Just be careful if you are tall so you dont knock your head. The roof top view is amazing and she has such a cute set up with the decor, etc. People in the neighborhood are friendly also. Id definetly stay here again.

Beautifully decorated and spotless. The surrounding neighborhood has had some hard times. Several buildings were boarded up but anyone we ran into was cordial and helpful.

A quick trip to Old San Juan

Property was convenient location to public transportation, although in a sketchy neighborhood. We felt safe and the apartment was secure. The terrace was delightful, but getting up four flights of stairs was daunting. Beds were comfortable, couch was not. Host Rosemarie was very helpful and attentive.

It's a TRUE Penthouse!

A real apartment where you are the only one that has control of the whole roof at the building. Extremely spacious area. The BBQ is a plus amenity with a small grocery store across the street.

Little Gem in PR!

This was in a great location that didn’t have a touristy feel. It is just a few blocks to the Atlantic Ocean and access to the boardwalk/promenade into Old Town. The grocery store around the corner was handy. El Charro, a block or 2 down the street was a good spot for margaritas and dinner. Uber from Old Town was easy and about $7. Apartment was adequately appointed. WiFi was a little slow. Rooftop terrace was amazing! We enjoyed coffee and sunrise out there every morning. Rosemarie was very responsive when we reached out for information.

The appearance of the apartment was very quaint. The patio was roomy and decorated very comfy. There was no air conditioning in the entire apartment, only in the bedrooms, which was not stated in the description. I shortened my stay because of it but the host was very accommodating and understanding.

Amazing Terrace!

We had so much fun here! Spent most of our time on the terrace, which is spacious and just beautiful. But when it rained we were nice and cozy inside as well. Rosemarie is so gracious and helpful, and very responsive. Many walkable eateries are nearby, we Ubered everywhere else. This is a fantastic landing spot in a convenient location. Will stay here again for sure!

We loved this property, and especially our host!

The space is amazing. Can’t say enough about the rooftop patio. There were a lot of beautiful touches inside as well. Super comfortable beds and pillows. Loved the bathroom towels haha. Kitchen was well stocked and the living space was comfortable. If you’ve never been to old San Juan, this is not in the touristic cute downtown area. This is in the “up and coming” neighborhood of Puerta de Tierra. That said, we actually loved the restaurants down the street and being close to the beach more than we would have liked being in the tourist area. We will definitely stay here again.

Short stay near San Juan

We stayed in mid September and I didn’t realize the property didn’t have an elevator. So I really got my exercise walking up floor flights of stairs. My bad, I didn’t read the details properly. The property is located in a neighborhood that is undergoing a gentrification. For the purpose of being close to old San Juan and San Juan nightlife this made sense. Thanks for the hospitality!

Private Roof top

I came to PR for my birthday. Rosemarie the owner of the apartment was amazing from start to finish. She was so kind to have gifted me a bottle of champagne and cookies for my birthday. The apartment was clean and had many useful items for example bug spray, beach towels, lotion and more. We enjoyed the private roof top. There was plenty of seating. I had an issue opening the lock box. She immediately sent help. She answered right away when and if I had a question. Suggested establishments to eat at. She also suggested using Uber to get around. The prices were very reasonable. I would stay here again and suggest to others.

Wow!

The owner is extremely nice and helpful with recommendations. The property is perfectly located where all of old San Juan is a short walk away. There is a bar nearby but if you have earplugs its ok and its only loud on Friday and Saturday. Loved my stay here, definitely will be staying here when I visit next!
