The Space:
Villa Sol y Arena is a unique beachfront 1 bedroom garden apartment that is literally steps from the sand in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. You can enjoy a stroll on the beach and mesmerizing sunsets just steps from your door.
The villa features a fully equipped kitchen, a well-appointed bedroom, a full bathroom, air conditioning throughout the entire apartment, a washer & dryer, a terrace overlooking the palm trees, and most importantly, direct beach access.
You will love the wonderful community amenities which include two large swimming pools, tennis courts, volleyball and basketball courts. The property includes 1 parking spot and 24-7 security.
CONSTRUCTION NOTE: THE APARTMENT UPSTAIRS WILL BE REMODELED FROM JANUARY THROUGH APRIL 2026. THE PRICE HAS BEEN INCREASED TO AVOID RESERVATIONS DURING THESE MONTHS. IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO BOOK AFTER APRIL, WE'D STILL RECOMMEND REACHING OUT TO US FOR A STATUS UPDATE AS THE CONSTRUCTION COULD BE DELAYED/EXTENDED. THANK YOU!

The cozy bedroom features a comfortable queen-sized bed, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep after your adventures in paradise. It has A/C, a closet and room darkening shades.

Villa Sol y Arena has a simple but fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen includes a fridge, freezer, microwave, stovetop, oven, coffee maker, and toaster oven. It is right next to the living and dining area.
GETTING AROUND & PARKING
Villa Sol y Arena includes one (1) parking spots.
Renting a car is a must when staying in Rio Grande as Ubers and taxis are not readily available in this area.
There are many activities within 15-30 minutes of driving distance and the roads are easy to navigate.

At West Indies Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide top-notch amenities, ensuring our guests feel at home during their stay.
All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest.
We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:
- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)
- 3 garbage bags
- 1 roll of paper towels
- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)
- 1 dish soap
- 1 dish sponge
- A small amount of laundry detergent
Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guestâs responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.
Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.
HOUSE RULES
RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.
NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.
NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.
QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.
UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 2 adults/children at all times, including visitors.
OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.
TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.
TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.
SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.
If youâd like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and weâll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.
If you need a guaranteed early check-in, you will need to book from the night prior to ensure the property is ready upon your arrival.

Travel insurance is inexpensive and can reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, coverage will depend on the policy purchased. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase.
